This is my first sequined kurta that I have ever ordered, so at first, I was not knowing what to expect. When it arrived, I was definitely impressed by the quality of the item. The detailed design is beautiful, and it has sequins stitched within the fabric all over the kurta. As you can see from the review photos in the first picture, it does look very nice. But in the second review photo you can see some frayed areas of the material near the end of the sleeve. I was astonished to see that it was shipped in this condition as this was exactly how it arrived. Another reason I only gave this kurta a 3-star rating was during the very first time I wore it, the sequins were starting to fall off the garment. It would have been quite embarrassing if I was at a friend's house leaving a trail of sequins behind me on the floor. Otherwise, this is a beautiful garment, just wishing I did not receive one in such an unsatisfactory condition. ... show more

Size: XX-Large Color: Purple
I got the XXL size for my partner, who is quite tall and wide built. Unfortunately, while the kurta fit his torso, the sleeves were way too short and the length was just about at his knees. Additionally, the dye (a dark plum color) rubbed off on several surfaces, so I would be very wary of anything but hand washing on its own or Drycleaning this, and would advise against wearing it with any light colors underneath. Some of the sequins were also broken, and the material was pretty see-through as well which was unexpected. ... show more
