The title and description mentions that it is a 3 piece item - kurta, pajama and nehru jacket - well I only received the nehru jacket. I was expecting the entire 3 piece set for an event and this was extremely frustrating. On top of that, the buttons on the jacket come off as soon as you try to button it. I'm 6'0" 160 lbs. I wear a 16-34/35 dress shirt and 42R suit. 34" waist. I received this in XL and it's a decent fit. I used the size chart to make my selection. The sleeves are just about right as is the length of the Nehru vest. The pants are a bit crazy. They are long enough if not a bit too long and the waist is big enough for two of me. It's a thin material that is easy to tailor and no more complex than a drawstring bag. At least I can work with it. This is a very elegant design with a distinct formal flair. There's a lot of detail that helps present a level up look. The buttons are a bit difficult to put in the little loops on the Kurta. There's a bit of a smell of fabric dye fresh out of the bag but it fades quickly. This is a hand-wash item that will endure for a while provided careful treatment. It requires ironing out of the bag and after wash. I like it. I recommend this set provided you get the right size. Pay attention to the size chart and measure sleeve length from the outside of the shoulder to the wrist. If only there were an inside pocket for a cell phone for the modern me. ... show more

This is a good looking kurta set. I got the main top with the lighter blue color with the dark black over coat. There's a flip of this version, but I'm glad I got the combo I did. It looks modern and the blue color shows the floral print nicely. I think the dark color might have made it look too formal. But that's a subjective view. The top coat has a nice gold and blue (hue) to its design. What you can't tell in the pic is that in the center of that flower design on the top coat, there's a piece that glimmers in the light and gives off a heavier set. It's subtle and looks good. It fit well, but definitely look at the size chart and get it accordingly. Mine was a good for based on what I measured and compared to their chart. The material is where I have some issues with this. The main kurta top is a bit too stiff and scratchy. I'm used to that in my Indian outfits, but I have quite a bit that are soft and would have liked this to be a bit more soft that it is. The top coat is fine, and is a bit stiff, but that works fine for it. The bottom/pants are very stiff. I do not like them at all. They're typical in that you tie it with a string, but the rest is pretty stiff and the fabric doesn't feel soft at all. Plus there are no pockets on those so that's a big negative for me. The saving grace for this is that the kurta has a nice look and is a good value. You can keep it lighter look by not putting on the top coat, or look not formal by adding it. On most likely going to use another pant for this, but otherwise it's a good addition to my outfits and would recommend it. ... show more

I was invited to an Indian/Nepali wedding in which I was required to wear something tranditional. Out of 4 sets that I ordered, this was actually my favorite in terms of colors and design. However, I used the first one that I received because it was a decent fit. After a bad experience with another one that was too tight, I was reluctant to keep trying any more on. I decided to clear the doubts and try this one on tonight. Wow, it fitted so perfectly! I ordered Large and I'm 5'7" and 175lbs. The small buttons were challenging, but I managed well. This has been the perfect ethnic wear for the year end festivities. This has the Kurta (Top), Pyjama (Bottom) and a jacket. The fabric which is silk blend is of high quality. Have worn this three times last year and have had no issues with comfort or durability of the fabric. The color I got is Maroon for the top and cream for the jacket.
