Worn and Torn Kurta. It smells like someone’s cologne. Like someone wore it, partied in it and then returned it. Selleter basically did no quality check and sent to me. So disappointed! Fabric is thin. Embroidery is average. Not worth the price.

The media could not be loaded. Being in the middle age category for me means more freedom as each day passes. This freedom is the release from caring about what anyone thinks, in relation to what I am wearing. I like to set my own trends and styles. I have been complimented on my styles often within the business casual category, and also in my favorite category which in my leisure wear. I have been wearing about 50 percent kurtas or dashikis for about two years now and am satisfied with that life choice. I love the detailed patters that often allows for the best possible way to display a psychedelic or geometric filled design effect when using the kurta format. This new brand I just ordered that goes by the name of Sojanya is an instant favorite. I knew right when setting my eyes on the product page that i was going to ordering multiple items form this brand. One of my favorite occurrences when ordering clothes online is when the garment, I receive ends up being better than expected. That is what happened with this pink colored and semi shiny or reflective men's kurta, from the Sojanya brand. I initially thought when looking at the product page picture that this was semitransparent with openings like a knitted blanket and meant for hotter weather. What I received when opening the package, was way cooler; with that opening area actually being tiny circular reflective pieces made of some sort of plastic. This kurta then boarders on a more entertainment and visual type of variation which means it is an instant favorite of mine now. This looks like something the music artis Prince would have worn, which then made me order a purple artist symbol pendant to wear with this, along with pink slacks. I have then enjoyed this as a wearable garment then also as an inspiration to further branch of this and then end up transforming it into some sort of prince tribute outfit. I’m very satisfied with the Sojanya kurta. I’m slim (150 lb, 5’-8”) and the 38 fits me well. The sleeves are the correct length for someone my height. The cotton material is a bit more relaxed than the typical silk kurta. There is a slight stretch to the material making it somewhat easier to put on and take off. The sequins on the navy blue kurta give it an elegant look. This item is the top only—it does not include the pants that the sets are typically matched with. ... show more
