Wait at least 36 hours after using a razor or depilatory product before doing this test. Apply cream to a quarter size area of the beard Wait 4 minutes before removing. Do not scrape. Rinse area thoroughly. After 24 hours, if there is no sign of irritation or redness follow directions on product. IMPORTANT: Contains Thioglycolate. If skin is inflamed or has abrasions, sores or pustules, consult a dermatologist before use. Conduct sensitivity test before use. Wait 36 hours after using any razor or shaving powder. I bought this in an attempt to find something that would provide a smoother and hopefully longer lasting shave experience than traditional shaving would provide, as I get bad ingrown hairs and don't really have much luck getting everything smooth normally. After trying it a couple of times there's definite pros and cons, and I'll try to summarize them here. Pros: - Removes visible hair reasonably well - Smells much nicer than most hair removal products - Didn't irritate skin even after leaving on for an extended period - Didn't seem to cause ingrown hairs on any substantial basis Cons: - Only removed hair at surface level, anything beneath the skin grew back out in less than a day - Difficult to coat the full beard area consistently, as several hairs seemed to be missed after doing a thick covering and removal - Incredibly difficult to remove in any sort of timely fashion, as cloths or tools used to wipe/scrape it off were then stuck with it. It took using toilet paper or paper towels on the mini-scraper I primarily ended up using to clean it up enough between each swipe. At the end of the day, it's not really worth the time investment of this to get maybe one day of smooth face, but I've read other reviews here suggesting it may be better suited for non-facial hair, so maybe I'll use it up that way. Whether or not its worthwhile for you is probably completely up to your patience and beard hair situation. ... show more

I don't shave my legs during the winter months and tried this for the first shave of the season. I checked at the 5 minute mark and it was not working. Left it for 10 and wiped it off with microfiber clothes being fairly aggressive. Showered per the usual with more use of additional microfiber. All hair was removed and zero problem with any sort of burning sensation. Skin feels great! I have highly sensitive skin so pleasantly surprised with the product. I did not have any issue with smell, although post Covid my sense of smell is not much anyway. I will buy this again. ... show more

I absolutely love this stuff and it works great for me. Now i will state that i use this strictly for my genital region. I have been using it for several years now with very limited problems. Occasionally i get red bumps( kinda like razor burn for a day or 2 afterwords but it clears up with no problems other than a little itchiness) Apparently i do not have sensitive skin because i leave it on longer than recommended time. These are my instructions for doing the genital area ( booty hole, testes/shaft, and bikini area) IF YOU HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN WORK UP TO WHERE IM AT. 1. trim hair to where its about a 1/4 inch or shorter in desired area that you're shaving. (electric clippers work great for this) 2. apply a liberal amount of the Magic Shaving Cream to the desired area. I recommend starting with the bikini area, then do testes/shaft, then taint area, then booty-hole and cheeks. 3. Immediately start the timer for 8 minutes ( or less if you are working up to it) 4. At the 4 minute mark, Re-smear the applied cream around, just to move it around and get different angles on the hair. ( sometimes i'll notice i didnt get an area well and i'll move some from a more heavily applied area to the less applied area.) 5. When the timer goes off jump in the shower and take a wash rag and remove the cream immediately. (you'll notice large amount of hair being removed with the cream) 6. After your shower dry off and use your towel to help wipe off some of the extra hairs that remained. (you wont get all of them but they will fall off within the day so dont worry about it) 7. Admire yourself in the mirror ( you good looking dawg you) NOTES - if you notice that around the booty-hole area is sensitive right after doing this process apply a small amount of Vix vapor rub (yes im serious) and it'll help cool down the area. ... show more

I went through all of the reviews so I put a good amount on my lady bits and set the timer for 10 minutes. I then used my exfoliating glove to gently wipe it off while sitting on the ledge of the bathtub. It’s been a few months of using this and all I can say is it’s really great. I’m not gonna bs you but I have only been using this for my stomach, back , and 🍑. This product is the only thing that won’t leave me those bumps!, I just hate the peppermint smell it’s quite strong. I got no burns, rash, or anything else that could possibly cause me any harm.
