Enjoy a closer shave as the splash lifts your whiskers for easy cutting. Notice a smoother shave as the lubricants help your razor glide with ease. Ingredients: Alcohol Denat, Isopropyl Myristate. Apply to face and neck. Allow to dry completely (60 seconds). Shave with electric razor, rinse face and neck with cool water. If you are new to electric shaving, your face will need a few weeks to adjust. It is normal and you should expect mild discomfort for the first few weeks of electric shaving.

Bottle 6 and counting... The reason I keep getting these bottles is that it feels good! Splash your face with hot water and dry on a clean towel. Put about a teaspoon+ in the hand and and splash/rub all over the face. Now, take the dog out to fertilize the front yard. If you don't have a dog, go make your bed, gather a change of clothes, or get the coffee going. Drying makes all the difference! Your face is now ready for the electric razor. Enjoy a nice smooth shave with no irritation and no fragrance. Now it's shower time. (I have had no problems with my electric razor clogging. I do use a cleaning system from the manufacturer to maintain the blades weekly.)

Electric razor pre-shaves are sort of a rara avis these days - first the number of electric users has decreased over the years (the vast majority are cartridge users now), second, there are many electric razors now designed to shave wet (in the shower or with traditional shaving soap), and third many users elect to shave dry, with no prep. If you DO use a pre-shave (and I recommend it), this is one of the best available. Out of the existing stable readily available in the US - Mennen's Afta, Freelette, Speick, Aramis Lab Series, and the old standby, WIlliams - this should probably be at or near the top of the list. Among the lot, it's moderately priced at $4.00 oz (Williams - 0.69 oz, Afta - $1.50 oz, Freelette - $5.34 oz, Speick - $7.26 oz, Lab Series $8.82 oz), fragrance-free (the only one), and has great performance - and although more expensive than its lowest-priced counterparts, a little goes a long way. It's actually sort of a light shave oil once dry - the alcohol carrier quickly dissipates leaving only a slight film of lubricant (and the manufacturer notes you'll need to wash this off - so pre-shower shave or face wash after). It's probably the most lubricating of the lot as well, retaining its slickness to the end of your shave. Freelette and Afta both provide initial slickness, but quickly dry and require additional water if you shave longer. Speick, Aramis and Williams have some lubricant, but after dry-down can let your razor grab (Williams is the real bargain here and a good runner-up, but performance is below this one). Again, the only one fragrance-free (meaning no parfum - it does contain alcohol, so has an initial odor of isopropyl that disappears), and some can be off-putting by fragrance alone (looking at you Williams and Freelette). An all-around great performer for a not-exorbitant price. Recommended.

I usually don't even leave reviews but this stuff is great! I got the closest headshave I've had in a long time. I exfoliate my head with some st Ives, put 4-5 dashes of this on and hit it with my braun series 3. Its drys into kind of a light powder and the shaver just glides across, no irritation. Super smooth! As a black dude I don't think I'd want it any closer. Another thing that made me try it was its fragrance free so I don't have to worry about it clashing with my cologne. Highly recommend!

It’s a good product. It’s as effective (in some cases more effective) than other products and it doesn’t contain any dies or fragrances. It is made from two simple ingredients, denatured alcohol and isopropyl myristate. Overall, I like the product, it delivers a clean, close, and comfortable electric shave (as promised), but paying triple the price of the leading national brand (which is just as effective) for half as much product is a tough pill to swallow. Not to mention that when mine arrived some of the product had leaked.

This pre shave is the flag ship of all pre shaves. Here's why: • fragrance free. That means it doesn’t smell like trees or fruit or cologne. The only smell it has is the scent of its 2 ingredients. Alcohol. And any person with a brain knows alcohol evaporates quickly leaving no residual smell. I loathe the overpowering scents of most pre shaves and after shaves. Like, is there a board of people that actually think men want to walk around smelling like trees or a cologne bomb? Not this man. • it’s clear. No dyes or color gimmicks. That means if it spills on my shirt it won’t stain. Big deal is I’m shaving at the office or in the car. • it’s the viscosity of water. Not oil. Not glycerin….but water. What that means for me is it’s extremely easy to apply and spread on the skin. It’s super effective with a minimal amount. • the bottle and the way the product is dispensed. You don’t have to pour the product and waste unnecessary amounts. It’s so well thought out how it pours sparingly. And only a sparing amount is required to cover your whole beard area. Thank you for this! • results it yields are superior. I was skeptical because it’s the consistency of water, but whatevr actions are taking place after application, is magical. I did notice right away there’s less friction and a bit more glide with my Philips Norelco s9000 prestige. But the significant difference You won’t really notice until after you’ve shaved and went about your day. The irritation expected isn’t there. Just comfort. • the bottle. It’s just the right size for marginal counter space, shaped space and fitting in your travel case without struggle. Overall this product exceeded my expectations and satisfied my requirements for a most comfortable shave. If I had to force any qualms or things that would make this the perfect product for every man it would be the price. While its cost is about 12 US Dollars, it’s far less expensive than the failed-to-follow-through boutique products available it outperforms every pre-shave I’ve ver tried. And I’ve tried many of them both expensive and cheap. If you’re on the fence - buy this. You will not be disappointed if you’re a pre shave guys. If by chance you are disappointed, I would consider accepting the fact that you’re impossible to please.
