For the money, I am pleasantly surprised in the quality of the case material and partitioned, heavy velcro securement design. The 42" model accommodates two 18" barrel .22 rifles perfectly (rifles are 38" overall length), with scopes. The two velcro securement straps per rifle holds the rifles which will help keep them from shifting. Plenty of room in the outer pockets for magazines, ammo, and misc. stuff. Good zippers, good metal hardware on the carrying strap and bag, big carrying handles are easy to grab....overall, a well put together softcase that should last for as long as I'll be around.

I bought this for a magazine fed Bullpup 12guage. It is 31 inches in length and 9 inches tall from the bottom of the loaded magazine to the top of the iron sight. I was hoping that the advertised measurements were accurate and they were spot on, or perhaps 1/2 inch long depending on how you measured. The material is a heavy weight nylon with large nylon zippers. Each has twin slides with nylon string pulls. The bag is made for 2 guns, with a center padded divider that is attached by a 1.5 inch velcro strip, and velcro securing straps on both sides. The front triangle compartment is 2 inches deep; the rectangle pocket is 1 inch deep and the rear square pocket is about 4 inches deep, and holds 2 extra mags for my shotgun. In trying to keep the overall width (side to side) to a minimum, I quickly removed the center pad and the 2 bullet strips. These appear to be made for 5.56/.223, but I am sure there are similar strips for various calibers. The carry sling is also nylon and the clips are steel, but they are not what i would consider heavy-duty.. I have seen a few similar bags for about the same money, but I liked that this manufacturer offered so many size choices and this one is perfect for me, which makes it the best value without having to send back a disappointment.

It's a nice carrying case for the price. I'm not carrying this bag often because I'm not hunting with it or anything. It's basically just to carry back and forth to the range. I've got my rifle and my shotgun in it as well as my two handguns in 2 of the outer pockets. The bag held up well when I carried it today. The only thing I don't like, which is going to be an issue on all of them, is the way the shoulder strap attaches. Because it ends up flipping the bag upside down, you really have to make sure all your zippers and clamps are closed. Otherwise it's easy to carry but I think I like carrying it with the hand straps better. It definitely holds a lot. For just going back and forth to the range plastic zippers are fine the rest of the time my guns are on the gun rack. If you were going to keep your guns in this, or if you're carrying it more, I would definitely go for a more expensive bag. I think the best thing about this bag, besides how much it holds, is the cushioning not just the middle cushion separating the two sides, but the sides of the bag are cushioned extremely well. Absolutely no issue of two guns banging up against each other and damaging each other with the middle cushion dividing but also I wasn't worried about putting it in the back of the car and traveling with it knowing that one would be laying on top of the other or vibrations from the ride doing damage. The little velcro strips that it has for putting ammo in, honestly it's pretty useless. I don't like the idea of putting ammo in such an open space, but I think it's just easier and more conscientious to have the separate ammo bag. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase.
