I bought this to keep as a gratitude journal. It works PERFECTLY for that, as I did not need anything fancy or even good. However, it you wanted to keep notes, or keep an actual journal, I might not use this one. The pages did bleed through with pen; I imagine pencil would have been just fine. For my purposes, it worked great, as I don't need to refer back to what I wrote, I just need to get something on a page. However, if you write hard at all, with pen, I'd maybe get a different product. ... show more
