I bought these to wear with leggings and skinny jeans and, I'm happy to say, they fit the bill perfectly. I bought a black PU pair in 5.5 since, after reading many reviews, the majority of buyers bought their usual shoe size and I tend to be a true 5.5. However, I probably could've gone with a 6 in order to wear thicker socks. Honestly though, the boots are warm enough to wear with thinner socks in Northern California winter weather. While these are a bit tight at first, they do open up with wear. I received them a few days ahead of schedule and they are exactly what I wanted. Although they do not seem to be the most durable boots, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything that looks this good and is as versatile for the price (I paid $12). The calf is a bit wide for me, but I like that larger slouchy look. My skinny jeans and leggings have no problems fitting inside the boot. They arrived wrapped in paper inside an adorable shoe box, after unpacking them, it was love at first sight! they are absolutely beautiful! the pictures don't do them justice! thanks to the size chart I ordered the correct size, and the fit is perfect! I chose the suede black model, they look pricey, are of good confection, firm seams, well-bonded sole and a beautiful wrinkled style. They're very comfortable and warm, they aren'ot those cheap boots that make your feet sweat. I have walked with them for days and haven't experienced quality problems as indicated by other comments. I'm keeping them, but the quality is not worth $40. Basically no arch support, but hey're made a little more comfy by using a sole insert, but this made the toes a little tight. These boots are very comfortable. I wish that the bottom of the boots had more grip, but other than that they are light, great quaulity and the perfect height. I am 5'3 and they come up right below my knee cap

I wear a size 7 and these fit true to size. They are super cute on and they hold their shape pretty well. I have narrow feet and these are not overly huge width wise. Sadly it's still hot here I live so I have to wait a few months before I can wear them on a regular basis. They are the type that pair well with leggings or just bare legged with a skirt or dress. They won't fit well over pants, even skinny jeans won't look that good with them unless they are ultra skinny. ... show more

The shoes fit perfectly. I wear them all the time due to the comfort and warmth. My only complaint is that they do not look as stylish in person as they do in the photos. The upper portion that slouches, between the ankle and the calf, is too baggy. I understand, due to the style, that it is supposed to have this type of effect. However, the slouchy part is just too wide around my leg and somewhat downgrades the classiness of the shoe. These are cute boots. They go good with a pair of jeans and nice shirt. I usually order an 8 but ordered a half size up so I could wear thicker socks and they fit perfect. These boots are comfortable just a little big at the top. These are not super fancy boots but nice when you are running errands on the weekend and want to still look put together.
