Hey! A boot that actually fits! I'm a size 5.5, but sometimes I have to go down to a size 5. I ordered the 5.5, and I'm glad that I did. They fit great! Any smaller and the heel cup would be too small. Because of the full length laces, the fit is quite adjustable to accommodate for inserts. My favorite thing about these boots are the secret pockets!! Love that! The zippers come sewn shut, so you'll need a seam ripper to cut the threads crossing the top of the zippered pocket. The zippers are sticky at first, but loosen up with a few uses.Quality seems ok, but I haven't worn them much. Decent comfort for light walking and standing. NOT for hiking. Not enough support or cushion for hiking or lots of walking. Good traction. The belt buckles on the back are stylish but don't serve much function as they don't actually adjust any smaller. The pockets don't hold a lot. It's enough for some cash and a credit card, though be warned, holding hard plastic against your shin isn't that comfortable. I quickly opted to only keep soft items like band-aids and bills in my shoe pockets. My one complaint is that the package arrived in HORRIBLE condition. The bag was all torn open and the box had been stabbed through. This is more the carrier's fault, and doesn't make the shoe a bad product.

These boots are pretty decent. They do run a little narrow, but fit me pretty close to perfect, im a 6-1/2 wide. I wore them straight out of the box to renaissance fair in magnolia tx, so they got a pretty good work out and did just fine, they weren't even painful to break in. Might buy another pair to save as part of a costume. I would suggest these for every day use or just as a costume piece.

Update: had to downgrade to 3 stars. I've been wearing these boots almost daily now for 3 months, and this weekend the heel and sole on the left boot just broke while I was walking down the street. The heel is broken through the rubber all the way through the sole. In order to wear these now, I would have to pay a cobbler to have them resoled. So disappointed, because I loved these boots. But due to the 1/2 size too small issue and the largest size they make is an 11, I will not be buying these again. ----------- These just arrived and look great. I had actually bought another pair of Daily Shoes boots similar to these and returned because sizing was waay off and they were kinda thick looking around the ankle, so I looked like I was wearing boy shoes. These are much nicer boots for about the same price. The ONLY bad thing is they are about 1/2 size snug, so definitely order 1/2-full size bigger than you usually wear. I'm an 11B, so they don't have any size bigger and I'm hoping once they are broken in they won't be so snug. I'm not sure what the outside zipper is for, as it does not go down more than about 2 inches. I think it's supposed to be a pocket for cash and cards, but it may have a stitch keeping it in place. Will have to investigate with a magnifying glass. Update: I've had these boots for a month now and worn them almost daily. The snugness across the instep has not been a problem, and I've walked a lot in them so far. Holding up well, still look new. They are stretching a little in the instep, so that's good. For faux leather, they have a nice "leathery" squeak when I walk. Have not explored the extra zipper yet, just using my pants pockets.

I love my boots! These boots are comfortable to wear and look great on. With jeans or leggings. The price wasn’t terrible either. I thought at that price I may as well check them out. They are as comfortable as an expensive pair from the bike shop or elsewhere. Can’t go wrong with these !!!

Then they would have been really weird as they were far to wide at an 8; heavy socks were out of the question, I kept them for 1 Day after trying them on and walking around the house in them feeling ripped off thinking I could have found something better than this for 5 bucks down at the flea market and still couldn't where them in any way so I would still be out 5 bucks. So back they went today and I will probably never buy another pair of shoes at Amazon as in the past you are talking 3 weeks before I get my money back even though I printed their label and actually they were in my possession less than 24 hours; I bet I will still have to wait till around the 1st of December before I get any refund. So yea, I am done with shoes with Amazon & any shoe vendors they are affiliated with - I don't like their shipping time which can take forever screwing your bank account up as there were other horror stories with this company and their shoe affiliates but this was just the last straw. You have to wait to long to receive them, to return them that process is too long and I have yet to be satisfied with an shoe I have gotten I ripped of with binding up my money and patients now as a final note with this all they were just ugly - the photographer didn't do a good job of catching this boot's image or any other shoe or boot I have tried to purchase through them. Done. Like a lot of other products through them.

I've tried all sorts of boots (expensive and not), and yet nothing beats these. I buy a pair about once every three years and basically wear them all throughout winter and spring, rain and snow, and they're amazing. They look really cool, have the right amount of toe space (I generally need more than the average shoe provides), and they withstand all sorts of weather. I love that they have a zipper so you don't have to be lacing them every time. They go well with so many outfits and are pretty warm as well.
