These are very comfortable socks so I have 3 stars. However I'm pretty sure these are not wool or the amount of wool is much less than advertised. I have a very simple way of knowing if socks are wool or not. My feet stink if it's not wool and my feet do not stick off it's wool. I don't know why this is, I just know it is. My feet stink pretty bad at the end of the day with these.

Having never worn any socks made with wool, I wasn't sure what to expect. I found these socks to be super comfortable while wearing them with shoes or just walking around the house. The socks are really soft and a fairly thick quality material. I wear a size 13 shoe and these socks fit just a little bit snug. Although once you put shoes on you wouldn't even notice. They feel like they will keep your feet warm so I can't wait to wear them around the house next winter. Overall these are really nice socks. One could say "they're just socks", but nice, quality, comfortable socks are definitely the way to go.

The socks LOOK good. I rarely receive compliments on my socks, but someone did take notice of one pair of these (I received the pack that has four different kinds of socks). I like the length. As is often the case with me, the socks are a little tighter than I’d like. I wear a size 10 and requested the Large size. The length is fine, but they feel a little tight on my ankles and lower calves. On the other hand, I’m glad that they aren’t so loose that they slide down. If you are familiar with Mr. Pitt on “Seinfeld”, you know exactly what I mean. I’m impressed with the softness and how they feel as I’m walking in them. They provide adequate cushioning. It looks like the design on the white pair may already be fading a bit after only one wearing, and there is some pilling. Overall, I’m happy with these socks and would recommend them to most people, with the caveats I’ve mentioned.

At a price of $3.12 per sock, these are a good deal. They're soft and comfortable, I think the designs are nice-looking, and they are suitable to be worn any time time of the year. They're not too thick for summer, nor too thin for winter. The only downside I found is that when I wore them brand new in the house without shoes, they tend to shed bits of merino wool on the carpet. Not a big deal, and they seem to do better after washing and drying. I normally buy socks that run higher up the ankle than these do, and that might be a minor issue; when wearing pants, if you're sitting and you cross your legs, you might show skin above the top of the socks. That's not the best look, but then, these are advertised as athletic socks, not dress socks, and if you use them for running, walking, hiking, basketball, pickleball and the like, it won't be a problem. (And, point in fact, I put on pants with a pair of the Socks Daze, sat down and crossed my legs; my skin did NOT show, as you can see my posted photo. Because of that, I bumped up my rating to five stars). They only come in two sizes (Small/Medium or Large/X-large). I wear a men's size 10.5 shoe, so I ordered the Large/X-Large, and they fit perfectly.

I've been wearing these for work the past couple weeks. They are a bit short but provide coverage with my 6" work boots. These are not thin but not too thick like hiking socks. The color patterns are odd - reminds me of the Partridge Family show.

I really do like these socks. They are soft and there are no seams that cause irritation during working out. The color is as depicted and I can really feel the cushioning in the heel and toe area, so hopefully that adds to the longevity of the socks as I get holes in socks from use all the time. One thing to note, these are not ankle socks. They are not calf socks either, but I am 5'11" with a size 12 foot and these socks come up just under the bottom of my calf. That is higher than I normally wear or like my socks, but I guess it does give you some ability to use these in your hiking boots as well as your athletic shoes. If I were able to do partials, I would give these great socks a 4.5. Hope that helps you today.
