This mesh works better than black plastic netting for plants and berries. I have used this on my blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry bushes. I was able to keep all the birds away from my bushes. I did notice that bugs were fewer also. The sun gets through really well. It's super lightweight and you can cut it to the size you need. The price point is great, too.

I purchased this since it was a bit cheaper than the ones I have. I use netting to cover seeds so the birds won't eat them before they germinate, and over hoops to keep the birds off the strawberries. This one was not the quality of the previous one. I needed to cover an 8x1 ft section of seeds and was constantly fighting with it, trying to cut it because it's is so flimsy. My previous one cut just as easily as fabric. It will serve my purpose for now, but I will not be purchasing this again.
