This control does work in place of the original controller. However the plug is not an exact fit but it does work, What I did not like was the 6 wires had 4-5 inches uncovered just before they enter the plug. I will cover myself with some heat shrink.

    • Only worked for a short time.
I only used this once. When I tried to use it again this week, I get a fault indicator. I tried leaving it unplugged for a few days and when I reconnected it it still shows fault. I connected my hand controlled unit and it works fine, so now I am out $159.
