If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: I am recovering from an injury so in the interest of disclosure, I will say that I will not be able to use these bindings until next year. Vine requires us to review items in a specific timeframe, so this review will be about build quality, value and ease of snap-in. I am a lifetime skier who has taken an interest in snowboarding (I admit that a lot of the interest I have comes from how comfy snowboarding boots are compared to ski boots). My best friend who is similar in height and weight to me gave me his old board but he kept his boots and bindings. I don't have boots yet but he did let me borrow his for the purposes of this review. Likes: * Installation was easy. Use the included mounting screws and line these up, then screw them in and tighten. * These bindings feel like they are well-made. I obviously don't have a lot of experience with these since ski bindings are so much different, but they look and feel like they will last. * The step-in functionality is awesome. I always see snowboarders sitting on the ground getting ready to go down the mountain and I laugh at them on my skis. These bindings are probably as close as you can get to the ready-to-go function of skis. * They are $20 less than other similar bindings on Amazon, and are priced as low as any bindings I have seen. No likes: * None! Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: Before I ordered these I priced some out at a local store. No thanks! They wanted $300+ for simple bindings. I can't imagine spending that when I don't even know if I will enjoy snowboarding or not. These feature a low price of admission with great functionality and I am excited to get to try them out next year.

I picked up this Snowboard Bindings in large (black) before a recent winter trip, and they’ve quickly become my go-to setup for all-around riding. What stood out first was how lightweight they feel — even compared to my old bindings, these make my board feel livelier and less clunky when I’m cruising groomers or popping off small features in the park. The easy strapless entry is so convenient; I loved just stepping in and clicking down the toe ratchet without wrestling with traditional straps, especially when my gloves were on and the cold was biting at my fingers. They gave me that quick response I wanted when shifting edges, and I appreciated the clean black look that pairs well with any board. Comfort-wise, these bindings hugged my boots nicely without pressure points. I did a mix of all-mountain riding and a bit of freestyle, and they were playful without feeling unstable. If you’re someone who likes a forgiving yet responsive feel, these hit that sweet spot.
