Third controller I purchased - the prior original Fisher FishStik OEM one lasted 18 years and the prior SAM unit two. I like these better than the Myers/Fisher 9400 series because the buttons are larger. I don't like the brighter "ON" light and dim "FLOAT" light, but this is just my preference. Somewhat disappointed the prior SAM unit lasted only two years, but the Fisher one was marginal for a long time before I gave up on it when it finally died. Pricewise it's reasonable and justifies keeping one as a spare. Because they always die when you have a foot of snow to plow and 30 accounts waiting. ... show more

    • not very durable but cheaper than the Fisher brand Fishstick so I got 2
This is the 5th and 6th one I bought - they aren't very durable (maybe 1 full plow season) but cheaper than the Fisher Fishstick so I got 2 - 1 for the inevitable breakdown
