Product Care Instructions: ‎On your first burn, allow the entire surface of wax to melt (2-3 hours). Limit each burn to a max of 4 hours and make sure your candle is lit in a safe place. Between burns, trim your candle wick to 1/4" before lighting. This will help reduce smoke, maximize burn time, and reduce mushrooming. For your safety, keep your wax free of debris. Never leave your candle unattended and do not place the lid on your candle when lit.

Scent: Gingerbread Smash Size: 8.5 Oz
This is a nice candle. It does burn very cleanly and appears that it will take a while to burn down, especially if you do not light it everyday. The scent is on the lighter side and while yummy, it is a little one dimensional- I’m not sure any notes come through aside from gingerbread and maybe vanilla. The sticking point for me is the price- almost $50 is a large amount of money for an 8.5 oz candle, although I do like that it’s sold on Amazon this year so you don’t have to pay for shipping (with Prime). Overall, I would say this is a good quality, very pleasant smelling candle. I do not regret my purchase because I was very excited to try it out, but I will probably not repurchase as there are many other, cheaper holiday scented candles. I also do think this would make a nice hostess gift or Christmas present, the packaging is very cute and since the scent is on the lighter side I would think it would appeal to most people. ... show more

I’ve bought many snif candles directly from their site without any problems but this was my first and last time buying through Amazon…the candles themselves were ok but the boxes and packaging they came in was awful. It was ripped, stained, dented and torn in various places. Plus 2 of them were not in the original snif packaging. Also, Amazon shipped them in nothing but a thin brown paper bag…no bubble wrap or cushioning which is probably why there were so damaged. I was planning to give these as gifts but could not due to the terrible condition of the boxes etc. These candle smell and burn great and they’re clean..so if you get them buy directly from the Snif site NOT Amazon. ... show more

I consider myself a candle snob, but I do love Snif. I will spend “almost” anything, if I find a scent I like. To me, it’s that important to my home ambiance. So, I decided to give winter wander a whirl. I found it to be pleasant, unusual, (in the best way possible), and has a great throw. It’s definitely not your run of the mill holiday candle. The Lost Claus is my least favorite of my three Snif candles. I find its scent muddled and heavy with the same melted crayon note I’ve noticed in all of them. Perhaps that’s from the intense coloring used. All in all, Snif candles have a richness that borders on thick. That may or may not be your preference. ... show more
