This is in the vents of a VW sedan. It looks so snazzy— I was worried it would be too sparkly. I use jasmine essential oil to soak the refillable pad. It disperses the smell well but I feel it could have more air holes in the back to better allow air through for circulation. The front snake part can slide off of the vent clip for easy refill too. This is a very cool looking vent air freshener. The snake is very detailed and even has sparkly rhinestones that catch the light. It's super easy to put together and comes with 4 lemon scented air freshener tablets. It also comes with a cloth tablet that you can use to put your own essential oils on. I used one of the lemon tablets and the scent was very slight. Even being the driver and really close to it I could barely smell it. Since the freshener goes in the back slot there's only a small opening at the top for the scent to escape. If you don't like strong scents this is for you. It's a very nice looking decoration that is staying in my son's car because he loves snakes. I'll try using some essential oil on the included pad for a stronger scent that he prefers. It's awesome that this gives you the option of using the included air freshener tablets or creating your very own scent.
