I was having a bit of an ankle issue where my right boot was creasing on both sides of the ankle. It was painful and caused soreness. I had to take them off for a few days to heal. Afterwards, I used a thicker sock and grabbed the side straps to pull them up, so it did not crease as much because, there was less slack. You have to wear them a little bit, but no issue. It fits properly, but you also need to measure your foot to buy the right size based upon the size chart. My size is bigger than what I normally buy based upon the manufacturer. Beautiful quality but they do run a little small. I typically wear a size 9. I ordered a 9.5 just for safe measure and it was too small, so I ordered a 10 and it was perfect.

I bought these boots for a country wedding. My first thought was that I probably needed to break them in. So I wore them to work and they really hurt my feet. Thinking that was just because they were new I didnt say anything to the bride and groom about their choice in shoes. Wedding day came and I wore them from about 2:30pm to 7pm. Even though I ordered a half size larger than I usually do they were still hitting my toes. Not only that but the ankle was hard and did not bend at all. By the end of the night I had blistered and bruised feet. I wouldn't think this was a big deal but this was the 9th wedding I have been in and I have never experienced such a terrible shoe choice for a wedding. ... show more
