  • Very comfortable and lightweight, great lenses
Color: Black / Photochromic Clear to Gray
I always wear eye protection when out in the sun especially when riding my bicycles. I tried several brands before I bought my first pair of SMITH pivlock sunglasses over 10 years ago. Since then I have bought several more (even though they at the top of the price range). Protection of the eyes is top priority. Plus, the optics are top tech clear and relatively distortion free. The nose pads material works great to keep the frames in place on sweaty workout rides. All of the SMITH models I own come with the chromopop lenses and include a spare lense. The lenses are replaceable. And so the nose pads also come off but I rarely have done this as the part is fragile. Gotta be very gentle when swapping the lense. I have never broken a lense or nose pad when swapping them out. But these adjustable nose pads have one serious flaw in design: I have had the adjustable nose pieces fail at the hinge. This is right were the rubber pad attaches to the pad frame that then attaches to the lenses. This tiny hinge allows adjustment with two angles than click when you adjust in or out for your nose. But this hinge piece is not durable. They not hold up. This happened to my first pair after about a year of usage. I emailed SMITH to see if I could order a replacement but never heard back. My second pair ever purchased have now suffered same issue. I managed to carefully superglue the part and so far have held although gluing them prevents futher adjustment. SMITH - love these glasses but really would it hurt to offer replacement nose pads? Thanks I take very good care of all my stuff and keep these in their case when not in use. I clean each pair with only soap and water, and a dry cotton only cloth towel. I used to clean the lenses on my first pair with rubbing alcohol (which works fine on my regular glasses and is common practice for plastic lenses). But I noticed the SMITH Chromapop coatings on that original pair were starting to break down a little and forming pits. I still can see through them so I rotate usage of that pair for my rides but new purchases are way clearer. Don't know if the alcohol plays a roll or not. Nothing about that on SMITH's website. Could be that eventually the newer pairs will succumb to the same fate. Fortunatly SMITH does sell replacement lense. UNFORTUNATELY they do not offer for sale any nose piece/pad replacements. ... show more

  • Quality lenses and build
Color: Matte Spruce / Chromapop Bronze
The media could not be loaded. Glasses came in today and they seem solidly built with quality lenses. Caveat I'm slightly biased toward SMITH as I have their chromapop goggles for skiing but have never tried their sunglasses. I normally run Oakley PRIZMs for biking) Opening the hard case (a pleasant surprise) i found two lenses--the brown chromapop and orange (another pleasant surprise). The arm bars feel durable and lock in solidly. View through the lenses (as shown in videos/pics) are easy on the eyes--warm and contrasty like I wanted. Unfortunately they don't have an Asian fit (which is odd since they have asian fit goggles but no such option for sunglasses) which means the bottom edges hit my cheeks as shown. But that was to be expected. We'll see how this plays out over time. As well, i assumed the frames would be more grey (as pictured pm the product page), but what came is more turquoise green. Not a big deal either. ... show more

  • A bit small for my face, but well designed
Color: Matte White / Chromapop Black
I love my Smith ski goggles and was in the market for cycling sunglasses, so decided to try out the reverbs. I wanted a frameless design because I felt I was constantly looking at the top frame of my current glasses (oakley radarlocks) when on the bike, and didn't want to pay as much since I don't get out as often. These checked a lot of boxes. The nosepads allow for a little adjustment to fit my low bridge, were wide enough to fit my big head, and weren't so dark that I couldn't use them when overcast. However, they were a big small on height, so when on the bike I'd tend to look over the lens, or only had partial coverage. Ultimately though I went with a Tifosi rail, as the lens was taller and it offered a photochromic option at a better pricepoint. However the reverb was my strong second choice ... show more

  • Perfect sunglasses for multi-sports
Color: Matte White / Chromapop Violet Mirror
I’m a triathlete and have been searching for sunglasses that are dual purpose (cycling and running), functional (full sun protection and great peripheral visibility) and of course stylish, sleek and not bulky. These sunglasses have it all! I also love that it fits my small face and low bridge nose, which can be quite challenging if you are Asian like me 😊 They are prefect in every aspects, even the price point. I didn’t wants to spend $200+ on sunglasses especially given how they will get thrown around and might even get damaged or loss. ... show more

  • Just ok
Color: Black / Photochromic Clear to Gray
Arrived with the hard case , extra chromapop rose lens, soft case. The photo chromic lens works but is not high quality, prone to smudges and berry foggy in humid conditions, so not great for running. The rose contrast is better but is somewhat niche. Overall doesn't seem better than a Chinese knock-off for 20 dollars. Not what I exptfrom smith. ... show more
