Wasn't sure on the red tint as other seemed to be really dark for pnw overcast days but these are great. I haven't felt the need to switch to the clear lens that came with them yet. Visibility in cloudy weather and under tree cover is fairly good. I can actually see what's ahead so that's good. Sunny weather, no issues. These are also the first goggles I've had that don't fog just standing around. The only time it's fogged (only in the corner) was after a climb, standing still, and looking down for more than 10seconds. Love these! Well see how long the fog part lasts. Used a couple times in GA with some chilly days. No fog issues (normally I fog EVERYTHING) which was AMAZING. Good breathability but still filter decent enough, was pretty dry and dusty but didn't have many issues following other riders.

    • super comfortable but scratch ridiculously easy
my TLD ace 2.0 gloves have a microfiber lense wiper thing on the side and it just won't clean off the smudges on the goggles, they just get worse. the goggles smudge ridiculously easy, like i would even be touching them and i take them off and there is a bunch of lines on them.

Sent them back because of the gummy glue residue on the headband. It gets all over everything. They are beautiful goggles and fit nice otherwise. Smith needs to rethink this design.

Note: these goggles only come with a clear lens only (which I only wanted) I use this when mountain biking. Takes getting use to compared to safety glasses or sunglasses. But this helps keep bugs away from your eyes, especially when going down hill at a fast clip through rough single tracks! Been there done that with regular safety glasses! Has some vents around the lens. Depending on the weather, can get foggy. And warm when on the face. I don't have it on when riding uphills. And have to debate which one to use on extremely hot days on the trail. Best for shuttle rides in the heat. Like at a bike park. Still overall very good goggles, the strap hasn’t slipped off my helmet. Oh and I always put it away right after a ride in the microfiber pouch it comes in to reduce scratches. Like any glasses.
