It works well to protect my table. My table is currently used as my daughters art studio, my husbands office, as well as the place where we actually eat dinner. This table has been through a lot over the years and I am trying to get a little more time out of it. I liked this cloth because the backside is soft, it has a neutral design and the vinyl is waterproof and easy to wipe down and clean spills. It’s more for function that aesthetics but it’s holding up great after a few weeks of use. It just the right thickness that I don’t stress out when putting anything hot down because it’s plenty durable.

Recently, we purchased a new dining room table, and I thought it would be best to get a tablecloth for project days such as cake decorating. I wasn't looking for anything special, so this tablecloth is just fine. At this time I have it tucked on two sides because I don't have the leaf in the table, so it's a perfect square--not a rectangle. This tablecloth will be perfect for messy projects that include lots of icing or other things that my household may come up with to do at the table. I don't really like tablecloths, but this one is totally fine with me and will serve the purpose.

I had having family over for the holidays and needed a new cover for my table. This one was plenty big enough and complimented my wood floors. I seen a review where someone said it had wrinkles. Ummm every single vinyl tablecloth that comes folded in a bag (from anywhere) will have this. It's easy to get out if you have dealt with vinyl tablecloths before. It would be crazy to expect it not to. I like vinyl because of them being waterproof. And it DOES have the soft fuzzy stuff on the underside. I have no complaints what so ever about this table cover.

The images of this woodgrain vinyl tablecloth made it look thicker and heavier than it is. It's light, thin and crackles when you move it. It came vacuum packed, hard as a board, and the wrinkles from being compressed like that are well set in the tablecloth. The wrinkles are extensive and don't smooth out very well. It is nothing like the perfectly smooth, nicely draping table cover in the product images. The term "flannel backed" gives a different impression than the factual item. In reality this thin printed vinyl is bonded to a non-woven backing like a thin interfacing material. It's sort of fuzzy I guess, more scratchy than soft. It is not flannel, nor does it resemble flannel, it does not have any qualities of flannel. I've always been amused by and fond of fake woodgrain. I come from the era when everything was fake woodgrain and I always thought it was funny. I want to like this tablecloth but I don't feel like the quality is there. It has the quality and usefulness of a painter's drop cloth. It can protect a tabletop, but it is not really a home decorating item. It will be good for messy projects, it will make cleanup easy. In its favor, it has no chemical odor, it is odorless.

This tablecloth will do the job that I got it for. I just want to protect my table from the day today messes. The flocking on the backside is a tad thin and the vinyl side is really slippery. Is vinyl tablecloth‘s go, it seems like it will hold up all right and serve the purpose. I think the thing that I am not crazy about is the fact that it is so slippery. All in all, and OK value.
