Line up three kittens in a row to graduate them into cats And then, get three cats in a row to win. But that isn’t easy with both you and your opponent constantly booping kittens around. It’s like herding cats! Can you boop your cats into position to win? Or will you just get booped right off the bed?

I saw this game advertised on tik tok and knew I had to add it to my line-up. I'm always hunting for fun, strategic, two player games for me and my partner and this one was right up our alley. The rules take minutes to figure out. It's basically tic tac toe but with a twist. The difficultly comes in how you get those three in a row. We played several games and after a while, I started to get specific moves down to ensure victory almost every time. My poor partner had a hard time seeing some of them because of the 'booping' to move stuff. There were often times I'd boop cats to get the third in a row and she wouldn't see it coming. She's usually the more strategic one of us so it was fun to out smart her. Long story short, I highly recommend this game. If you love cats, (we have 3) this is a great game for you. Very quick to setup and play its ideal for entertaining kids as the rules are simple make kittens into cats by booping when you land. A whole game can be played in 10 minutes, its a bit like tic-tac-toe with some variations, it would be nice if there were some modifications to make it last longer but overall a pleasant game! ... show more

I know, I know... this game looks like a kid's game (and, yes, they will love it too). I mean, the cute factor is undeniable with the thick wood cat and kitten pieces - and a quilted fabric game board that makes a bed for the cats to play on. ////// But make no mistake, this game is first and foremost a challenging abstract strategy game for adults. And a GREAT one at that. I love all kinds of games, but am a dyed-in-the-wool strategy gamer. I love Chess, SHOBU, Onitama and Tak. BOOP earns a spot right next to them. It is super simple to teach/learn - but man, it will put your skills to the test. Buy it for the cuteness, but enjoy it for the amazing game play. I played a demo version at GenCon earlier this year and absolutely loved it. From the same designer as Hues & Cues, Boop is an extremely addictive (and adorable!) strategy game for 2. You can't even be mad about accidentally making the wrong move because booping the cats and kittens is just too cute. I've had this on pre-order for a few months now and can't wait to play the finished version! ... show more
