I like it, but don't love it. I ended up combining this costume with the woman's version. I wore the head piece from the woman's version which is open face. This mask looks good, but is not practical to wear with glasses or for very long. I also cut off the skirt portion of the woman's costume and wore it around my waist. I did this because the back of this costume is simply black. None of the gold decoration is on the back. By combining the two, I was able to add some gold to the back. The arm bands were also too loose, so I bought some extra velcro to tighten them up. Even then, they slip down, so I stuck them in place with some double stick tape from a home improvement store. I wore my own tights and shoes. The black dress shoes looked funny with this, so I cut off some of the head dress which was uneven and threaded it through the laces to add some gold to the shoes.

Fits small. Not bad for a Halloween costume (they're always cheaply made and overpriced). The tunic stays closed by a few little spaced-out velcro squares - a zipper or even one long velcro strip would've been better. The mask is a little awkward to wear and came all folded up. Had to stuff it with socks to get it to fill back out and lose the odd dents. Overall, not too bad.

My husband really wanted to be Anubis for Halloween so we went for it... this costume fell a bit short of expectations. It fit oddly because the stretch wasn't bidirectional, so the upper arms were tight and the gold from mid-chest to waist was loose. My hubs is 5'11" and around 180 lbs, he's lean with a runner's build. Anyone with big guns would want to cut the sleeves off (my hubby did that eventually too because it was hot). He ditched the rubber mask - it smelled and wasn't possible to see out of it, let alone drink or eat anything. He got an Anubis mask from Halloween.com and it worked. We went to one Halloween party here in PA, then another a week later in Jamaica, so in the warmer weather he was melting. He wore it with gladiator sandals and running tights. He looked awesome both ways. So I'd give this costume a 5 but subtracting one star for the goofy mask

The mask compared to the picture is a rip off. I would hardly be happy paying $30 for this let alone $50. The paint was not properly applied and has gaps around the eyes and peeling on the teeth, the tongue is just black rubber and not red like the photo, the neck is not existent like the photo shows and the deformation of it in the pack (which is typical for all costumes) makes me not even want to let anyone see it. I chose this costume over the other one because of the mask on this one and it was the wrong choice for sure. Too late to order the other in time though. Thank goodness for the return policy though.

I looked very good on the Anibis costume I wore to a Halloween Party. The mask, being latex, was hot to wear and my field of vision was limited, but I looked good as the Egyptian Guardian of the Dead.
