Description

SME BULLSEYE SIGHT IN EDITION TARGET CAMERA: The SME Bullseye Sight In Edition Target Camera boasts a range of 300 yards and high-definition 960p resolution. It is an all-in-one unit comprising a camera, wi-fi transmitter with removable long-range receiver, ball joint swivel camera that can be adjusted up to 15 degrees off-center in each direction, and adjustable wi-fi transmitter with built-in hinge and locking cantilever for up to 90 degrees tilt-n-lock. The device also features rotation for a direct line of sight to the receiver, a removable & dockable Wi-Fi receiver, LED indicators on both the Wi-Fi receiver and transmitter for verification of power and signal strength, and an integrated battery charging system with independent charging capabilities for its Wi-Fi features. The camera and receiver are fitted with a standard tripod mount (1/4"), as well as flip-up telescoping legs that allow angled use between 15 to 25 degrees. Additionally, it has four serrated gripping feet at its base for level-use purposes.     • Had app installation problem but now it's fine
First I had problems having the app to work correctly, it was crashing when sighting the camera, then I tried the previous version (you can get it for free on Amazon app or other apk sites) and it worked. Then I tried again using the latest one and, I don't know exactly why or how, now everything is working fine on my Samsung S10 or on my Acer Chromebook 514. I shoot with an air gun, I often change of pellets type/weight and of shooting distances and this system is amazing for its simplicity to tune the scope, as long as you made sure the that scope is correctly aligned on both axis (I aimed at a distant lead wire from a bench rest to make sure that the vertical axis is neatly set and use a bubble level for the horizontal axis ). Once this is done, that the target size and target distance is set in the app, the app tells exactly how many clicks to set R/L Up/Dw to correct the POI. Ater a few tries, provided that the pellet/ammo is regular in quality, I hit the bullseye every time. 5 pellets to make sure that they allow correct grouping, 5 pellets for scope/POI tuning and I'm done, I can add the pellet and the scope setup to my list. By avoiding walking to the target each time, I can stay focused on aiming correctly. Only drawback: less walk, less exercise ;-) ... show more

Little skeptical, due to cost initially but that passed quickly. Very easy to setup and use. Excellent piece of equipment for shooting. Definitely worth every penny. Says range is 300 but I was getting reliable connection @ 380 (direct line of sight). If you have the money highly recommend this product, hands down its helpful and reliable. ... show more

Avoid this unit, it only works and wants to work 1/4 of the time. You may try connecting to it and find out it has quit working and it would be impossible to connect to it again. Image quality is not that great and it sits down below at an awkward position. None of the features work for it like bullet trajectory. Waste of money and has very little value. ... show more

I know it is not cheap nor required, but WOW is it handy to have. Yes, I own a nice spotting scope. This is better, especially for sighting in rifles. I set it up, downloaded the app on my iPad and was off the races. You can easily see shots, go back to previous ones, so on and so forth. Why did I not buy this sooner? ... show more

This item is worth every dime I spent on it !! No more walking to the 100 to 300 yard targets anymore. No need to change out the target any more . You just reset the program and shoot again. It tells you where your rounds hit on the screen and records it. Reset program and shoot again. Try that with your spotting scope. The price of a spotting scope to see this quality of a picture at various ranges costs more than this camera system. Used it the first time foe 4.5 hours with no problems. Other people at the range were impressed at what this machine is capable of. Down side ? There web site is horrid. They show the old system ..not this one. ... show more

This product is a great time saver. Our department ordered this to assist in sighting in over 40 new rifles to be issued to our officers. The time saved made this process more efficient and accurate. We set this device up in an underground range, and the Wi-Fi had no problems transmitting in an enclosed concrete bunker style shooting range. The only issue that I could relay to anyone using this in a similar scenario, is that the Wi-Fi created a slight buzzing background noise in our electronic ear protection devices.     • BUYER BEWARE - DOES NOT WORK WITH ALL APPLE DEVICES!
I purchased this device looking forward to an upgrade from the old AMMO Box camera Bullseye first turned out. My disappointment is that this newer camera does not work with all devices. 1. It will work with my iPhone 13 2. It has limited functionality with a HP Chromebook using the android AP 3. It has limited functionality with a windows PC running the android ap through a 3rd party program 4. IT DOES NOT WORK WITH iPad 9th Generation(2021) I contacted the SME Bullseye Tech service desk and eventually spoke with a pleasant person that informed me that the AP has not been upgraded yet to accommodate the newer devices.
