5.0 out of 5 stars | 2 Batteries for the price of 1 | it’s a no brainer
I was a little unsure about the math on this item, but let me dispell the unknowns. You can charge 2 batteries plus a controller in one shot with this unit. Money is always a consideration, so instead of purchasing 2 additional batteries I purchased this. I use one battery, and when I pull out a second I throw the spent battery onto this portable charger while I’m in the middle of wherever. By the time I use my next battery, the spent one is now charged and I can swap out the freshly charged battery and put the spent one back onto this charger... it’s a no brainer! So if you have 2 batteries, buying this is like getting 2 additional batteries! For the price it’s amazing. It has definitely saved me a few times when traveling; thinking my batteries were charged, when they weren’t. Product is a lifesaver.

4.0 out of 5 stars | Mavic 2 owners must buy...
Build quality seems great. I haven’t tested it out yet because the damn thing does NOT come with a charging adapter. It appears I have to use the DJI charging adapter, not a big deal but still. Update: 06-11-19, this thing is great. I can’t get up to 3 full charges out of this. The slight downside is that it won’t charge a warm battery. So I can’t just fly, drain battery then plug in right away. I usually have to start flying on a second battery while it cools down, then by the time I’ve spent the second battery, the first is ready to charge. It only takes about 1 hour and 15 mins to charge a battery from less than 20%. I’ll get 2 solid charges and about 3/4 of a 3rd charge, typically. Once I got 3 full charges, but the first 2 were just over 25%. For less than the price if one battery, I get 2.7 batteries worth of power.

3.0 out of 5 stars | When it works, it's great
When the unit recognizes there's a battery to charge and functions as normal, it's great. Unfortunately it mostly seems to take 10-15 minutes of screwing around with what is laughingly called a 'power button' to get the unit to work. Even with the batteries having sat around cold all night, the unit just won't function consistently. Woke up yesterday realizing I needed to take one more battery just to make sure I had enough juice for the day. Grabbed this charger, walked down to the car, intending to plop a battery in and get it charging on the way to the first job. Fifteen minutes or so screwing around with it in the trunk before I left and while sitting at stop lights on the way to the first job did nothing. I gave up. An hour later, back in the car, I tried again and it decided to function. At that point the battery full charged and I was covered for the day. Unfortunately it seems to do this every one of the few times I've needed it. Reached out to Smatree for support as the unit is just under six months old at this point.

5.0 out of 5 stars | Keeps my drones flying
I use this each time I fly my drones. It is my go-to charger. However, one drawback to this charger is the initial check to see if the battery is ready to charge. If the battery is still warm from use, the charger stops. This is good, however, it does not keep checking back. You have to make the charger recheck until it is ready to charge. Then the charger starts and works great, until under 25% remaining. At this point it will not charge a single battery, but I can use the USB to the drone controller, which is how I use it now. There will be a point in charging the batteries, if the charger gets below a certain point it will not charge the battery and will stop charging the battery partially. Otherwise I can rely on this and love this charger over the dronex I also use.

3.0 out of 5 stars | It works like magic, i.e., sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't
In the film Little Big Man, Old Lodge Poles asks the Grandfather of All Things to grant him his old power to make things happen, because he wants to pass on into the next world. When it doesn't happen, and he says "Well, sometimes the magic works, sometimes it doesn't." This device is like that, sometimes it charges my batteries, sometimes it doesn't, and I have yet to figure out how to make it work reliably. It seems to work best when I put a single battery in the left bay, and then click the button on the right side of the device. Then I can put the other battery in, and it will start charging too. But sometimes the second battery doesn't charge all the way. I don't know why! Because it's unreliable, I gave it 3 stars, but when it works, it's invaluable, so I couldn't give it fewer stars. If I knew how to make it work every time (and of course I follow the instructions every time, they're very simple), then I would give it 5 stars.

3.0 out of 5 stars | Exceed most Airlines carry on battery requirement
Never have a chance to use it. When going through TSA with this power bank on the first trip, the charging station was taken away and I was forced to give it up because it exceeds the limit of power bank, buy the Mavic 2 batteries.

5.0 out of 5 stars | This product is Amazing!!
Absolutely amazing!!!! Bought this to go to Colorado and camp in the mountains. Knowing I would not have power up there I bought a few different battery type devices to bring with me. The first 2 days I ran through all 3 batteries. This dual charger got me back 2 full batteries and remote in very little time that night! I used my battery powered bluetooth speaker to recharge the smatree dual battery charger and my 3rd battery at the same time so I was ready to go for a few more days! This is the absolute fastest and best way to charge you Mavic 2 pro batteries!

5.0 out of 5 stars | Fly more for less money!!
The cost of one of these holds its value compared to the price of 1 mavic battery. I do a lot of remote 3d mapping which is why I can’t always run home to charge and using the 12v in the car does only one battery at a time which is slow!! This aux battery pack charges 2 at the same time which is already a step up from Dji Hub that only does one at a time. I am able to get 3-4 charges out of one pack with a remote transmitter top off. Weighing just over 3 lbs each, I tossed three of these in my pack, hiked 10 miles and managed to map remotely all afternoon. I use these all the time on small jobs as well. Just an easy way to never have to worry about a dead battery. The drone battery, the transmitter battery, or the iPhone. If you want to fly all day, this is the most affordable option. Literally….all day. I did 18 flights in one day with my mavic 2 dual without worrying about an outlet and sleeping in a tent. That was even allowing the batteries plenty of time to cool off between uses. I will close here and leave you with a quote. “Nuff said” Frank ‘Ramon’ Catton
