This is most definitely NOT what I wanted or was expecting. What's pictured is a dark, plum color. What I got was a light lavender/grey with a silvery sheen. I'm a black woman with a medium complexion, and this lipstick gave me Tyrone Biggums lips. If you're unfamiliar with that reference, grab a powdered sugar donut, take a bite, and look at your lips after. My lips looked the same. Great dark mauve color, that goes well with my medium complexion (red undertones), green eyes and dyed blonde hair. I use a lip exfoliator first, and always apply a good lip balm after use, as with any long wear lipstick, or any imperfections will look chunky. I can apply in the morning, and it will stay put for a good four-six hours. I love the natural color of Stylist, the even wear, the matte finish that does not look dry. Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick is overpriced, but I like it so I buy it. They've stopped making my favorite shade so I tried this one. It just looks nothing like the picture. It's way more nude than anything. I'm disappointed but it's not anyone's fault. It's a good color for someone out there.

I wasn't sure how I felt about this lipstick when I first saw it in person. I thought there would be some purple in it, but it is definitely a medium slate grey. It goes on very easily and appears perfectly matte. I wore it for quite awhile, didn't have to constantly reapply. I received 3 compliments on my new lipstick in the first half hour I had it on....one of them from my mother! I ended up really liking "Punked." It is a unique and very pretty color. This is fabulous lipstick. I am switching all my lip sticks to Smashbox Matte! It has staying power. First application when I am going out ... I can't really say whether or not the lipstick itself is good. I did not like the color once I got it at home. It looked to be a nice dark, deep red but instead it looked more pinky red. It seemed to be a nice texture and consistency but since I didn't actually use it, I don't know how well it lasts throughout the day. The color I purchased was Unzipped. I had this lipstick that I bought directly from Smashbox. I dropped it and broke it so I looked on Amazon for a replacement. This was such a great price I had to get it. When it arrived the lipstick looked like it was used, like maybe a tester. I didn't see anywhere in the description indicating this might not be a new product.
