This is my first merino wool shirt. Been reading about the benefits they have and this was fairly priced since there are ones going for $20-50 more. Was a little worried about sizing as I’m tall and gained a lot of weight during the pandemic. But the XXL is very generous length wise which was perfect for me. It also is big enough for my 300 pounds and I can tell it will look a lot better when I get back in shape. Material feels nice on the skin, not scratchy at all. I’ve worn it about 6 times and it could go a lot longer before I need to wash it. Not sure yet how it’s going to look after the first wash but have a feeling it will be okay due to initial quality. Also, this shirt is very good at not holding lint which is a big plus. Hoping this remains the same after washing.

This shirt is so comfortable and because it is wool it is naturally resistant to odor, which is perfect for a hiking shirt. I will be getting more of these because I pretty much want to live in them all of the time.

You buy wool for breathability, moisture control and odor control and the this shirt is great at all of it. Super soft and very lightweight; I would use this for hot summer days or as a base under an insulating mid layer. The cut is generous in the shoulders and arms and fits intentionally loosely in your expected size.

I used to buy bamboo viscose t-shirts. They were comfy, but like cotton, subject to wrinkling and body odor. After some time the collar would stretch out and end the life of the t-shirt early. Well, not so with woolies. I'll never go back.
