I inherited Dupublicity (competitor) when I was hired at my current employer. I really knew nothing about signage as I was a network coordinator at a school district and signage was taken care of by BOCES, never had to do anything with that. The Dupublicity device looks like it is worth $8. The first one died and I spent $400 for the next device. Their software is very glitchy and difficult to program. Your device (SmartSign2Go); I paid only $99 looked much more rugged. The software is more intuitive and less glitchy. Actually, I have had no issues at all. I ordered this for my salon to display menu prices and services. It’s such a fabulous and very cost effective tool. Super easy to install and even better the software program is very simple to use. I was able to create different screens with an easy drag and drop interface and put together a really cool and eye catching display. There is a monthly fee to use the software with prices starting at $23. The first 2 weeks are free which gives you enough time to play around with it. Customer service was also superb and you can even text/call and get a quick response back. I’m very impressed with this company.     • Terrible setup instructions and phone support
I am pretty tech savvy. Setup instructions were missing pertinent information so I decided to call support. Gentlemen did answer right away. However I kept getting disconnected 3 times in a row. I tried to continue myself and everything stated in the instructions on how to setup, was not working. Very confusing and unorganized. I hate to leave a bad review and I do apologize but I wasted my time and money now have to look for another one from a different company. Sorry but I cannot recommend this product. I looked at almost a dozen companies for added digital signage to the lobby of my condo for the association I am president of. SmartSign2go stood out almost immediately as they offered a message design system that was not zone centered. This gave me the freedom to create powerful messages that got noticed in the exact fashion I wanted. Furthermore, they were the only ones who mentioned they had a connection to emergency services which will come in quite valuable living here in South Florida. I tried another product before using SmartSign2go. It was complicated and customer support was difficult to understand and went too fast for me to keep up! This product is easy, user-friendly, and allowed me to use my current documents, as well as offered templates!
