  • Impressive!
Color: Space Grey
I can't believe that Umidigi can make such a high-quality product like this for its price. Then there are the functions. I play tennis and I haven't seen another watch that tracks performance for tennis. Perhaps there are some but I can pretty much assure you that they don't do it for this price. There are so many other functions. For example, blood oxygen level, blood pressure, the number of steps, and on and on. It's going to take me a while to figure out all of the functions because there are so many. This thing is like a computer on your wrist. The other thing I love about the watch is the brightness of the screen. You can see that in the picture. The watch is also reasonably thin given the vast functionality. I just may buy more of these for Christmas gifts. ... show more

  • Great watch hampered by bad software
Color: Icy White
I really like the watch and all of the functionality it offers, but I'm going to make the review short and sweet. Any manufacturer that markets a product to be used in the United States of America that can't be bothered to let you use imperial units instead of metric either didn't do their homework or doesn't care enough. Even the ability to switch the clock from 24 to 12 hour display is buried and not documented. If you use the metric system and can deal with the rest of the app, this is a great device for tracking fitness, with many workout options. ... show more

  • Love the health features
Color: Space Grey
This new watch from Umidigi has so many features it's hard to list them all. I really like the health checks like blood pressure and the continuous heart monitor. The blood oxygen level also gets checked during sleep and then added to your sleep graph in the app. Lower oxygen levels can be an early sign that you should see a doctor. The app will also share data with Google fit. From Google fit you can see your run or walking pattern, taken with the watch gps, on a map. The watch is a nice size and comfortable on my small wrist. My only complaint is that it does disconnect, then reconnect, quite frequently from bluetooth. This means that it can't really be relied on to notify you of all your phone messages. I like the reminder to drink water. The fact is that you can set up this watch however you like. To can turn off the features you're not interested in and keep others. It's very versatile. ... show more

  • Excellent for the money. Sturdy case.
Color: Space Grey
Likes: -Battery life -Excellent, very sturdy hardware. -Comfortable for a watch. -Excellent GPS. -Easy to read. -Can turn vibration on and off. -Fixed Farenheit/Celsius issue. -Works with Google fit. -Receives texts and notifications. -Accurate sleep reading, (except start and stop time- see below). Dislikes: -Weather tells forecast, not current temp. -Cannot simultaneously record workout and do anything else. -Very fussy about reconnecting to phone. -Will not always transfer workouts to Paiactive. -No intelligible instructions for functions. -Wipes data with updates. Unsure: -Strava -This is not an FDA approved health device. The review: Why I gave it 5 stars- for the money, it compares to more expensive brand name watches. I bought a Fossil Gen 5 sport and a actually having more issues with that watch than I had with this one. For $40 bucks, the URUN is a steal! Great for anyone who doesn't want too much from their watch. Great starter smartwatch, especially if you don't plan on using smartpay features. Actually works better with Google Fit via the Paiactive app than Wear OS does. Paiactive app is still lacking, but not as bad as I thought, compared to Wear OS, in some ways- connectivity just seriously needs help. That being said, here is my review from before I bought the Fossil: I've had this watch about three weeks, I think. I paid $40 US for this watch. This is my first smartwatch. I've done lots of research on them and took this for a smartwatch test-drive to see if they are worth it. I'm most excited about the battery life. Even with all the stuff I do with it, I get about a week. I didn't know electronics lasted that long, anymore! This was difficult to get to know how to use. The little instructions it came with were difficult to understand, and full of errors. It just ended up being completely unreadable. I ended up digging around the internet for user videos. Definitely a language barrier for us English speakers, anyhow. In the middle of getting everything in place, there was a hardware update and all my settings and data were lost. The watch gets texts, notifications, and caller ID just fine. I can choose which apps, so I'm not constantly pestered by Facebook and Twitter. However, it is bluetooth only, so you need to be near your phone, this is not an LTE device. It is great, though, if you don't want your phone in your face while at a restaurant, for example, but need to make sure the boss isn't trying to call (Stupid boss! I'm at lunch!). You can't respond, but it is enough to tell if something is so important, that it is worth digging your phone out. Also, no mics or speakers, but who would expect that at this price range? Not something I want, anyway, so not a "dislike" for me. It is probably one of the most sturdy pieces of electronics I've ever purchased. Honestly, there seems to be absolutely no need for any kind of aftermarket glass or case protection. It's much more sturdy than the Withings hybrid I purchased for my husband ($199 pricetag). It is comfortable. The strap took some getting used to, but it has been years since I've worn a watch, especially overnight. I replaced it with a blue one, but the issue is me, honestly. It is large, and I have tiny wrists. It goes over the edge about a mm, but I got used to it. The GPS is very accurate. It works extremely well. However, recording it, then getting it to your phone is a bear. To record: select the activity, wait to connect to GPS, once connected, select the activity again and begin recording. DO NOT BACK OUT OF THE ACTIVITY TO DO ANYTHING ELSE. This will end the activity. I tried to use the music controls only to find at the end of my walk that I didn't record my walk at all. Even trying to check a text will end things. To end the workout, hit the top "key" (it is what the manufacturer calls the side buttons)., Hit stop, hit the ✔️ mark, then you are done. To get it to actually record the workout to your phone, you need the watch connected to your phone while recording the workout. I've tried it without. It may record the data, and it will even store it on the watch. However, it simply will not move the data to the phone unless the watch is connected while the workout is being recorded. I bought this watch thinking I could control music (skip, forward, back) while recording a workout, so this is kind of a bummer. I'm hoping this isn't a general smartwatch thing. Earbuds I've used seem horrible at controlling music, so I was looking for an improvement over those. Speaking of outdoors, you can adjust the brightness. It has three levels and I've been able to see outdoors, even with sunglasses. It has adjustable vibration, too, which can also be turned off (handy at night). There are only four watch faces, but really, how many does a person need, and how many should one expect for $40? Let's not be greedy. I'm sure there is some third party hack out there for this, anyhow. It shows the weather and the last update, they added a Farenheit function. However, it does not show the current temperature. That seems a little strange. I can check the forecast anywhere, but the current temp is why I would look at my watch. So connecting to the phone is a huge issue. It works well the first time. Subsequently, however, depends upon the mood of the Paiactive app. The best fix for this is to restart your phone, not the watch. At least that's the best fix this week. Again, it depends upon the mood of the app. Since most of the watch settings are through the app, you can't just opt out of using the app. What's funny is that it will actually seem to connect to the Google Fit app before the Paiactive app. However, since the data is being pushed from the Paiactive app to Google fit, it must be connected to Paiactive, right? See what I mean about Paiactive being moody? It's like my friend's five year old boy, I swear! It does claim to work with both Google Fit and Strava. Strava doesn't seem to pick up the GPS activity well. Google fit works very well with it, though. Could be a setting on my end, too. I'll reserve judgment on Paiactive for that, for now. Some people wish that it did have more apps to connect with, but I found a third party app (Health Sync) that connects Google fit to a number of apps. I'm sure there are more third party apps like this out there. The sleep function- it does seem to know, like Santa, when I'm sleeping and when I'm awake. However, it doesn't seem to know when I go to sleep and when I finally wake in the morning. It just seems to assume 11pm and 8am. I'm just not sure why there can't be a manual start and stop button. I know when I get in and out of bed and when the watch should start and stop recording. Sure, I could be a good patient and use my CPAP that actually does record my sleep cycle accurately, but I hate that thing. It hates me, too. Long story involving bloat and gas that you don't want to hear. Anyhow, I was impressed that it knew when I was waking in the middle of the night. That being said. All these health features are fun, but for serious health problems, spend the money on FDA approved devices. The manufacturer states up front that their watches are not approved for medical use. For serious health monitoring, hit the medical supply or drug store. So for non serious monitoring- When I compare heart rate with taking it by hand, I seems fairly accurate. However, it is almost as quick for me to do it by hand. There is the option to set it up for continuous monitoring, though, which eliminates the time lag. BP has to be calibrated with an actual BP device. I did it with the Omron one in the dentist office. But since I don't have one at home, I can't exactly check up on it. Those ones in the drug store really feel like they'll break my arm. I'll leave that to another, more brave, reviewer. O2- I have no way of double checking this unless I go to the doctor. Overall it is worth the money I paid for it. The Paiactive app is lacking, but the watch is a good piece of hardware. ... show more

  • Has all the right features for a low price tag
Color: Space Grey
This watch has everything you'd want from an entry level smartwatch. Key features include: -Physical buttons to navigate along with touchscreen control (I like having buttons, personally) -A bright screen and excellent battery life -Useful Flashlight feature -Find my phone -Real time weather -Music controls -Syncs with messaging Various tracking features such as: -Sleep -O2 level -Activity/ Exercise modes -All day heart rate monitoring -Pedometer It's easy to read, not too hard to set up (follow the instructions provided to download PaiActive), and comes with a comfortable strap/USB magnetic charging cable. If you've used other Umidigi watches in the past, you'll find this one to be fairly similar. All in all, if you're not looking to drop the kind of money that a flagship watch would cost from a major brand, but like having a "utility" watch to keep track of your activities that you won't have to charge often - this is a great price. Note - used with my Umidigi Power Android Smartphone (another great Umidigi product) ... show more
