This smartwatch is like carrying a mini control center on your wrist. The touchscreen is bright and responsive, making it easy to check calls, texts, or notifications without pulling out the phone. The display is easy to read in the shade of the doorway, and the side button gives a firm click to wake before swiping to steps or heart rate. With the phone on a nearby shelf, Bluetooth calls are clear enough for quick answers, and the vibration cuts through a running fan. The strap rinses clean after soap and water; raise to wake is a beat slow now and then but it catches. The battery gets through a full day of chores and an evening walk without dipping into the red. At night it rests on the puck charger by the key tray.
