Pulling this out of the package, the smell was overwhelming toxicity and I threw it aside from me, hoping it was maybe the packaging that made it stink. I let is sit for 24 hours and nope---not the packing it's the bra itself. It's not the lace/fabric side on the outside, but the synthetic material on the inside that touches your breasts and is fused to the foam padding. I feel like this could give you breast cancer by just wearing this bra. I have no proof, and I am not a doctor nor a chemical engineer, but for how toxic is smells, I would not want to take a chance. I have never owned a bra that smelled like this and I am shocked no one else noticed or comment on its odor. Maybe they start using newer (cheaper) materials recently? There was a huge delivery mess-up and I complained to Amazon about the delivery, so they refunded the price I paid for this bra or I would be returning straight away for a refund. Too bad, because it otherwise looks like a nice bra, though for larger sizes, the back part of the strap should have more reinforcement, though it has stretch lace, for all the shoring up large breasts need, a sturdier band in the back would help and if I were going to wear it I would alter it. I may let is sit out for a week or so before I trash can it to see if the smell goes away, but even if the odor improved, I would still worry about what the material content was doing to some of my most vulnerable body parts regarding cancer. BTW, I am a solid 38DD (43.5 full bust measurement, 35.5 under bust (chest) measurement) and I ordered a 40 C only because it was significantly cheaper than a 40 D, and other reviewers said the band was too small, and it could work for me if I wanted serious cleavage for to wear for intimate costume wear. Buyer beware. UPDATE: I let this sit out with lots of airflow, near my wall heater (lots of moving air) for more than a week. I also tried putting in my dryer on the lowest setting for 30 minutes to try to "freshen" it. None of this alleviated the toxic smell. My couch sits closest to my wall heater and about 6 feet from my recliner. This bra was sitting on the back of my couch "airing out" and when the heater kicked on (no forced air or blower on the heater, just heat), the smell from this bra would travel strongly to my nose, like 6 feet away. I bought it for romantic evenings, but honestly, I cannot imagine wearing it close to my husband without repelling him. Sent it back to Amazon. They can keep their cancer. ... show more

This is the 3rd bra I have ordered from the Smart & Sexy brand… each one has been from the Add 2 Cup Sizes Extreme Push-up line but this was my 1st time ordering it from Amazon versus directly from the Smart & Sexy website. Not sure if that would make any difference or not bit the bra I received from this Amazon order is disappointing at best and very confusing to say the least. I was super excited to receive this bra based on my previous experiences with my bras. I am 5’8” and move between 135-145LBS which has been my consistent weight for years. My bra size has ALWAYS presented overwhelming challenges for me to actually find a bra that fits correctly, is flattering to my “girls” and is most important to me the most comfortable bra that I don’t have to spend my time frequently tugging on throughout the day. The 1st Smart & Sexy bra I ordered was in a 38B. The quality of the bras I received whwn ordering directly from their website store was far and away 1000% better quality and value for the money. I was actually floored to find a bra that did what it said was supposed to do and be made so well for such a low price point. It honestly was comparable to my Victoria Secrets Bombshell bras ghat I paid $75 for each bra. And I’d comfortably say the S&S bra was more flattering than the VS bra as it didn’t have all the unnecessary lace flash and dangle-bobs hanging off it. Just a well constructed, quality bra that made me feel good and made my girlies look even better. Sadly this latest S&S bra isn’t close to the same high quality construction, it doesn’t come close to fitting the same and even goes as far as creating the back bulge around the band and then the cups have way too much space between my breasts and the actual cup. I don’t have the time to return it and get a replacement or just ask for a refund because I bought it for a wedding event and I am on vacation so it was truly a last minute panic I forgot my good dress up bra to pair with my dress up wedding guest outfit☹️ Now I have to go get yet another bra and lose fun in the sun pool time to go shopping when I feel like I should be able to count on a brand to produce the same consistent product that I have been able to replicate on two previous occasions. If the bra’s band was designed to be wider like the other bras I have brought in the same extreme push-up line i almost guarantee that I would not be seeing the back bulge situation. I love this bra! It fits great with just the right amount of push-up so that the girls don’t look odd (: it’s super comfortable. I normally have an issue with gaps at the top of the girls but this bra fits so well that there’s no gap!

This bra is so beautiful. I love the style the fit only draw back for me is there’s so much padding in it. But overall this bra is very comfortable. So comfortable I’ve bought 3 different colors. Would recommend this bra if you want maximum push with support and sexy looking bra.
