  • Silent Cooling Fan and Bowens Mount: With built-in silent mode, this fan allows for a quiet shooting experience. Press the Reset button three times to activate the mode and three more times to deactivate it. At a distance of 1 meter, the fan produces a noise level of about 25dB 2dB. Note that the cooling fan and light are reduced in power when in silent mode. The Bowens mount allows you to add any modifiers within the load-bearing range, while getting a professional look.
  • Precise Lighting Adjustment and Intelligent Wireless Control: CRI 95+, TLCI 96+, color temperature of 5600K and 9 light effects adapt to the user's multi scene shooting needs. In addition to manual control, you can easily adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% through the mobile phone via the SmallGoGo App, and observe the data through the LED screen.
  • Dual Power Supply System: 1 Direct power supply from the AC power adapter. Power cable length up to 6m (19.6ft). 2Powered by a 14.4V/26V V-mount battery (Package not include).     • A bright light that fills the spot
SmallRig has been making a great line of accessories for a long time, so when I saw they put out a line of LED video lights, I had to get one to see what it was like. In short, I'm quite pleasantly surprised and would recommend the SmallRig RC 120W LED light (your choice of 120D or 120B) to anyone who's looking for a more powerful constant LED light at a budget entry-level price point when compared to its similar-performing name-brand counterparts. I have the 120D which comes fixed at 5600K. SmallRig ships it in a nice, clean-looking gray bag with a zipper lid with the interior filled with thick foam and external handles which can be velcro wrapped together. There is also a clear plastic ID sleeve on the back to help identify it, as it's a very clean-looking bag, and blends in with other SmallRig accessories that come in their bag. Anyways, you pop it open, and there are 3 main cutouts: one for the light, one for the reflector disc, and another for the power cable. The light was much lighter than I initially thought it would be given its size, which makes handling it very easy. A minor gripe is the locking handle on the underside for attaching to a light stand that can't be freely rotated like some other accessories. I appreciate the long grip handle for improved leverage, but it can get in the way at certain positions so I wish I could freely rotate it. The light housing is made of a light and smooth plastic which has a built-in mount for Bowens accessories. The housing would be my #1 concern for durability but seems to be holding up to studio work quite well. It's also been fine on a couple of location shoots, but I've always taken extra care to not damage or drop the light. The light performance has been consistent and reliable for me. It's easy to work with by the controls on the back panel. You can also control it via mobile app, but it's a little underwhelming and can be frustrating at times. SmallRig definitely needs to develop a more fluid and comprehensive app, but in terms of managing basic controls such as brightness, it works just fine. For anyone looking to upgrade their studio lights, or find themselves a reliable performing constant LED, I wouldn't hesistate to pick up a SmallRig RC 120. ... show more
