Does the app need to stay running for the watch to work? Yes. For stable Bluetooth calls, alerts, weather, and syncing, keep the app running in background and allow needed permissions. If the app is closed or restricted, the watch may disconnect or stop showing alerts. Why is the battery smaller than some watches? This slim watch is designed for a lighter, elegant fit, so battery space is smaller. Typical use can last up to 7 days. Heavy use or AOD drains faster. Full charge takes about 2–3 hours. Does it work with iPhone and Android? Yes. It works with most iPhone and Android phones. On Android, Location permission may be required for Bluetooth scanning. The watch itself does not have built-in GPS. Can I reply to texts or app messages? You can answer calls and read message alerts on the watch, but typing replies is not supported. SMS quick replies may be available through preset responses in the app. Are health and activity readings medical-grade? No. Heart rate, sleep, steps, and activity data are for general wellness and daily reference only. They are not intended for medical diagnosis or treatment.

This is a good entry level smart watch. It has some great features, like a slim profile that hugs your wrist and a comfortable silicone band. It would be great for someone with a larger wrist, as its just a little too large for my slim wrist. The band is standard though and can be interchanged with one you can commonly find. The watch itself comes with many fitness features so you can track your health. With different watch faces, it looks quite nice. The sleep and step trackers seem close to accurate, but you'll need to download the app to be able to use this. It's a basic tracker. For connectivity, it easily pairs with bluetooth. It can answer and interact with phone calls and music. You can read short SMS texts but need to actually have your phone to reply. The watch arrived neatly packaged with two silicon wristbands and a charging cord (USB-A at the charging block to a magnetic two-dot contact on the watch). Out of curiosity, I contacted the vendor to ask whether they sell replacement charging cords in the event of a cord being lost or damaged. The watch vendor does not sell cords but said that the cords are standard and may be bought in many electronics stores that sell smart watches. When you first turn it on, the watch provides a QR code to use to download and install the phone app that synchs with the watch. The app installed easily and the watch easily connected to and synchs with my Android phone The phone app's UI is clean and simple. Overall the watch's user interface (UI) is intuitive for someone familiar with widget style apps. The (silicone) band is soft and comfortable. The colors are conservative, but feminine. It seems to be sturdy and durable. The notches are close enough together to allow for small adjustments and there are a lot of notches, allowing for a wide range of diameters. There are two loops that hold the extra strap down securely. I did not experience catching it on things or flapping. (I really like the adjustability of the band because I can make small adjustments for swelling, monster, heat, etc. Without it feeling too tight or too sloppy) The biometric sensor light could be problematic for individuals who are sensitive to flashing or strobing light. When the watch is not worn, the sensor light strobes The watch face is moderately customizable. There is a selection of designs ranging from cute cartoon-like designs to traditional watch faces. I did not find a way to upload a design or image that is not already programed into the app or watch itself. The watch screen is very sensitive while active. While moving between functions it is easy to "overshoot". When setting alarms, it was difficult to get the numbers set precisely. I did not notice the watch face turning on a lot during regular movements. The screen is sensitive and responsive to touch when active. But it isn't burning through battery life because it gets activated on accident. It isn’t frequently activated accidentally, which would dramatically reduce the The flashlight function is impressive.
