She cute from a distance and slightly smaller than shown
I am a serial plant killer, so I’m always on the lookout for good faux greenery that won't judge me for forgetting to water it. This little fake ficus is a really cute addition to my space. The Good Stuff: * The Look: From a distance, this plant looks super nice and brings a lovely, fresh pop of green to the room. * Durability: The rocks inside the planter are securely glued down, which is amazing because I hate dealing with messy, loose gravel. I also haven't experienced any broken stems or loose leaves falling off, so it definitely passes the sturdiness test. * The Planter: The black and white textured cement pot is really stylish, and the overall compact size is perfect for a desk, bathroom counter, or shelf. The Issues: * Its smaller than the shown measurements (in the photos, product dimensions are def incorrect). After extending the leaves the best I could, it measured about 8.5" tall, the listing images shows it should measure 9.1" tall. The vase measures 3.5" wide and the listing images show it measures 3.9" wide. * Sticky Stems: Right out of the box, I noticed there was some sticky adhesive residue left on the stems. It’s not the end of the world, but it was a bit annoying and gross to deal with while setting it up. * The "Unboxing" Fluff: The leaves are a bit stubborn and pretty hard to spread out and shape. You’ll have to spend a little time wrestling with them to get the plant looking fully fluffed and natural instead of squished. Final Verdict: Once you get past the initial unboxing and get the leaves shaped to your liking, it’s a nice, zero maintenance piece of decor. It's sturdy, looks great on a tabletop, and safely adds a touch of life to low light, boring spaces!
