I didn’t find the pop-out straw useful; I ended up pouring out about 500 ml at a time into a convenient plastic drinking bottle I can keep at my desk and “chug” from time to time. Overall I do like this product. I need constant reminders to hydrate since I do not drink liquids often, so it really does help me. However, I left it on its side accidentally and it did leak. Also, the straw touches the bottom of the bottle so it interferes with drinking comfortably. I have to unscrew the top slightly to pull the straw away from the bottom so I can drink. I suppose you can cut the straw a little on the bottom to avoid this, otherwise it makes suction through the straw difficult. I do like the fact that it comes with a pipe cleaner to clean the straw thoroughly.

Over all this product is great, it also comes with a wrist strap and straw cleaner tool, the lid also has a lock so there’s no chance for the lid to pop open or leak. I love how it comes with time/ motivational markers to keep you drinking. It’s also pretty lightweight for a gallon.

Great way to get motivated to stay hydrated! Bought being 8 months pregnant to hold myself accountable and this jug does this. Downfall, ice melts super quick, leading to condensation. But to be expected, as it's plastic, not metal.
