What should I do if there is an E0 error code? If there is an E0 error code, please check if the vessel is properly installed. The side with the scale should face outward, and the triangle on the vessel needs to align with the mark on the machine. What are the requirements for sugar and alcohol content? All inputs must include at least 5% sugar. When using the spiked slush mode, all premade input must contain between 3.5% and 17% alcohol. What's the function of the star nozzle? How should I use it? It can be used when selecting the ice cream mode. Just install it onto the dispenser spout, then youcan dispense a better-shape of ice cream. (Remember to take it off in other modes, because the slushiemight be blocked by the star nozzle) What should I do if the slushie can't be dispensed from the spout? It's a normal phenomenon. If this appears, simply use a wooden stick to gently poke or push into the dispensing spout to break the ice plug. Or press the Decrease Button to raise the tempareture and wait for a few minutes, the slushie will flow out. Can I switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit? I ordered this after I saw that the upcoming week had record breaking heat wave coming. I have an ice cream machine but it requires you to freeze the mixture before hand, and then spin it after it’s been frozen for 24 hours. I ordered this one because it can make ice cream and slushies without needing to freeze anything. So far I’ve been using this multiple times a day every day since I’ve gotten it. I’ve made a pro and con list below. Pro’s: • I like the ability to be able to make various types of deserts like soft serve and then being able to make slushies shortly after • It cools off the mixture very quickly and spins it to make the slushies or ice cream in about 10 minutes or so Cons: • The nozzle at the end where you dispense at can get clogged pretty easily, it could be user error but I noticed that happening more frequently with the ice creams compared to the slushies Overall I am pretty happy with my purchase and I’d say it’s a good option for those looking for versatility to be able to make multiple types of deserts in a couple of minutes with little prep time on the mixture that you put in. ... show more

    • Don’t buy. Less than zero
I purchased this to make delicious frozen lemonade etc for when my grandchildren came to spend one week with me for the summer. The very next day I purchased another one for them to take home and have memories of their week here. Well that week was this week. I mixed ingredients, poured it in machine and everything came out from the bottom. I tried several times each week. I even moved the machine to a different counter thinking maybe by chance I my counter was not level? For three days of cleaning the counter and wasted ingredients, I said enough. I tried to return it and the unopened one that they were supposed to take home and found that I was a couple days short. What a shame and disappointment! I contacted support and was told no returns. What a waste of time and money. More no treats or memories of fun when they go home ... show more

This machine has been a fun addition to our kitchen. It makes smooth, flavorful slushies, milkshakes, and ice cream with very little effort. The controls are simple, and it chills drinks quickly without needing a lot of preparation. I also like that it’s easy to clean after each use. The only thing to keep in mind is that the consistency depends on the ingredients you use, so following the recommended recipes gives the best results.     • Not worth the price
It's a nice machine, however it doesn't accept fresh fruit, or any kind of thick type ingredients. It is strictly liquids only. It requires high sugar content just to mix the drink of choice. I don't recommend if your looking for healthy options or low sugar options. It's very disappointing for the price. It also only has 40 oz max capacity. Which isn't a very large amount if you want to share with a few people. ... show more

    • Good ice cream if put in the freezer before serving
Love this slushie machine! I mainly use it for ice cream. The ice cream is VERY soft even when it says it’s “done,” so I put it in a container and freeze it overnight and it’s perfect. I prefer to use the powder vanilla instead of their recipe though. The fat of the cream and milk left my ice cream chunky. The powder mix works great though! ... show more

I've made fruit slushies, frozen lemonade, and even milkshakes, and everything has turned out great. I also love that it keeps the slush frozen for hours, so there's no rush to finish it right away.     • Makes great slushies and soft serve ice cream!
Makes a variety of cold drinks, slushies, soft serve ice cream. If you let it get too frozen, you have to add liquid to get it softer or it cannot come out of the spigot. You cannot just open or remove the freezer container to scoop out the frozen ice cream. If you want it more frozen, you have to serve it from the spigot into a container and then freeze it. Be sure to assemble the parts properly because there is a safety mechanism that prevents the machine from working if you don't. Slushies are great, refreshing. We've made it from watermelon which we blended first with pineapple and coconut milk. Wow, delicious as a slushie! Try other fresh fruit combinations or non-dairy milks, etc. for people with food allergies. Clean up by pouring soapy warm water into container and let the machine run, remove soapy liquid thru spigot and repeat with clean water until container and spigot assembly are clean. Remove clean container, rinse if necessary and wipe dry and then let air dry, if necessary. Fun to use at our regular family Sunday dinners. Really enjoying this machine. Hope it keeps working well for a long time. ... show more

First impression: great product, seems sturdy, relatively quiet (not sure if the noise level on my video is a good representation), and is easy to operate! I made several (liquid) drinks including fresh banana milkshake, a slurpy from a sugary lychee juice, and the frappe on this video... all tasted very good. Thickness was very similar between the 3 drinks, not much sugar required, each took 15-30 min cooling time plus prep time. The machine comes with clear directions and a recipe book! Clean up was a breeze for those easy drinks! The main difference to other slushy makers appears to be the upright orientation and the smaller size. This unit has the smallest dimensions I could find and still makers enough for 4-6 small servings. Remember, slushy machines have a minimum fill amount requirement, hence larger machines probably can't make single servings! Addendum 2 weeks later: we now found the limitations for this unit. The dispenser hole is way too small (17 mm)! Liquids will fit through but no icy drinks, and surely not ice cream, so it's only useful for runny slushies or chilled drinks (not worth the effort when you have ice cubes)! Aside from the small opening, the machine also builds up ice around it's spiral, retaining approximately 50% of the drink. There is no way to open the bowl on top, the container only has small openings for pouring ingredients into the top but no wide opening, hence the finished frozen products can not be spooned out! This now creates an enormous mess to clean up because you have to unscrew a container full of sticky liquid and ice at it's opening on the bottom)! I wish I could return it but unfortunately I threw the package away, thinking it works! Take home message: great for sugary liquid slushies, nothing else! ... show more
