  • SETTING ROUTINES: Our visual schedule is one of our favorite tools for setting expectations and creating routines. Easy to follow and flexible with moving pieces, this is a great resource for getting a head-start on alleviating anxiety, strengthening self-confidence , and giving our little one's more independence.
  • PROVIDE INDEPENDENCE: Supporting children with a wide range of abilities can use a visual routine schedule to bring structure and predictability into childrens lives. Once children have completed an activity on the schedule, they can visualize what is next and start navigating their daily routines with lessened anxiety and more independence.
  • THERAPIST CREATED: Created by a therapist and educator, Slumberkins products use therapeutic evidence-based techniques to help children master social emotional skills.
  • PRODUCT SPECS: Our visual schedule includes a canvas wall hanging (14"W x 20"L) and 18 single sided card stock tiles. Each tile features a velcro back so it can be moved easily. • Such a nice, quality product!
The media could not be loaded. First of all, the customer service is above and beyond. They answered within minutes and were so helpful. We bought this for my daughter who has ADHD. We put the Velcro pieces on the board so she can see what she needs to do for the day. For the activities that were not included with the board (there are a lot), they provide you with blank ones. I actually made laminated ones so I could write the activity and then change it. The board is beautifully made with thick fabric and well sewn Velcro. I found a fun dragonfly hook and we hung it across from my daughter’s room. I would highly recommend this. ... show more

  • Daily cards can be bent during a tantrum
This visual schedule is everything that it is shown to be. The banner itself is 14 x 20 inches and the quality is excellent. The tiles are made of a high quality card stock paper with velcro on the back to attach as wanted to the banner. I do worry about my child throwing a tantrum and bending the cards. The schedule routine has been a nice visual for my special needs child to be able to help him know what is coming next. I do wish that this would have come with more tiles. ... show more

  • DOES NOT INCLUDE BOOK OR STUFFY
Wish I had read the reviews first, I was also fooled by the image that says “set includes” and expected the set to include what was pictured. But it doesn’t. My kid loves stuffys and books so I was hoping this would be a really exciting thing for helping him to get comfortable with having a set routine. This just being the chart takes away from the parts of this that would actually have him interested in this. I am so disappointed, reading is fundamental so that’s on me, but they still shouldn’t have a slide pictured that says “set includes” with items that aren’t included in the set you are advertising! Like okay, “review includes a million dollars” just not this one 🙃 ... show more

  • It really does help with transitions
I like that it is made of canvas. Reversible for night and day and has a pocket for the extra cards. Even though it comes with extra blank cards it would be nice to buy replacement cards because they seem bend easily. The whole idea is as they are done you remove the card (it's velcro) Overall I'm happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • Not inclusive, but pretty.
This brand is pretty much known for making great quality toys so my expectations were already high and pretty much met when I opened it. It's got great quality canvas fabric, and has a great hang/drape, but I am slightly disappointed in the fact that there are some cards dedicated to going to school in a way that doesn't really seem inclusive of homeschoolers based on the wording. Having "school work" or "lessons" would have been a better wording than "go to school". And the fact that one of the cards simply says something like "go back home" with the only purpose being implied as a child returning home from school, because there's nothing about running errands or even leaving the house except for the card that says go to school. It seems a little weird to have three separate cards dedicated to apparently schooling in an outdoor environment, or rather an environment where a child would be leaving their home, but then there isn't actually a card that says anything about bedtime. There's a pajama card and a "wake up" card, but not one for when you actually go to bed. That just seems a little strange. overall I love the look of it and I like that you can do daytime on one side and evening on the other, and the fact that there are some blank cards included, but I am pretty bummed that I have to use all of the blank cards to fill in the gaps caused by the wording on the other ones otherwise it doesn't make sense for us. ... show more

  • Overpriced and does not include the Sloth Kin or books
There is a bundle that includes the Sloth Kin and books, this is not it. I mistook this for the Kin and book bundle because of the photo that says the set includes the kin and books, but again, this is not that bundle. I received the visual board and tags. The board is pretty and seems to be good quality. The tags are card stock. I personally would say this is a waste of money since I also purchased a second (different) visual board for my second child - I didn't want identical schedules so that it would be easier to distinguish whose was whose - and this second visual board is just as pretty if not prettier, same quality, came with more tags which are the same cloth as the board not card stock (so I assume they'll hold up better) and most importantly was only $20! Also, that cheaper board can hold 8 tags at a time whereas the Slumberkin one can only hold 6. Normally, I'm a fan of the Slumberkin products. My family owns several of the kin and book bundles, but this product was disappointing. The only plus I can give it is that the pictures show the characters from their books doing the tasks, which is cute if you own those books/character loveys and your child is familiar with them. Still, I wouldn't recommend. ... show more
