Yeah yeah I bought it though, didn't I? True, but still seems a bit expensive. I won't say it is miraculous in its claims regarding temperature regulation, but it is pretty good. Worth a try if you don't mind thinner comforter and paying the $$$.

I've always read that only natural fibers breath and because of that, I've always stuck to cotton cover with cotton fill or cotton cover with down fill. Well, our last blanket (which we will keep because of how unspeakably expensive it was...) was cotton and down, and we would wake up several times per night, just glazed in a coat of sweat. I Googled "best blanket for hot sleepers and this was unanimously the winner on multiple review sites. I'm so thankful that I trusted these reviews and went against my "synthetics can't breath" theory that was drilled into my head. Not only have we not woken up once because it was too hot, but it keeps us perfectly warm when it's cold in the room. Just today, I took a nap and it was cold in there so I put the blanket over my head, fully expecting to have to take my head out to breath in a few moments... but that "I'm just breathing in my own hot breath and about to suffocate" feeling, never came. The air exchange is so good, I slept completely under the blanket for at least a half hour and had one of the best naps of my adult life. Another perk is that the warmth to stuffing ratio is really small. When the box arrived, I had to double check that I had ordered the right size. Some people may not like this but I think it's great; it will take up less space when stored and I can wash it in my home washer. ... show more

We are hot sleepers and this comforter kept us really cool all night, in fact for us along with our ceiling fan this kept us a little too cool, so it was taking a little longer to fall asleep since we had to "warm" up before falling asleep. If you're a sleeper who likes to fall asleep with your sheets/comforter on but then wakes up trying to shove all the covers off because you're too hot, look no further - you've found the perfect comforter right here. After sleeping with the lightweight cumulus comforter for only a week now, my sleep has improved significantly and I'll never be switching out my comforter brand again. I really like the lightweight version because you can easily layer it depending on the weather. The down-like material is also super comfy! When you're wrapped up in this comforter, unlike any other comforter I've had, I always feel cozy and can snuggle up without my body overheating. It wasn't until after sleeping with this that I realized how many times I woke up during the night due to being hot and wanting to move to a cooler part of the bed. If you are looking for a lightweight blanket that is warm but not overly so, then this is the product for you. Perfect for my needs as a non-down/feather insert for a duvet cover. Added plus: it has corner ties on the inside. Especially like that it lays flat, not lumpy/fluffy.

We purchased this comforter hoping it would provide some cooling properties during the summer nights. We keep our home cool during the nights but we were still looking for additional cooling. We like the product because it is very soft and very lightweight but think this it is more to keep people warm but not overheat during the winter months. We're looking forward to using it when our temperatures finally cool down. We're pretty sure it'll keep us warm but not overheat us as the nights start to cool down in Arizona. ... show more
