    • Ad misleading
The add for a sling shot is misleading. I though that I was buying the sling shot complete as per the picture showed and they sent me the strapps only. On top of that when I tried to return it, they wanted me to pay for the shipping. Please correct.

    • Be careful, the screws are too short!
The screws that came with the straps are too short. If your board has even a thin pad, the screws will not go in deep enough. I lost one of the straps and had to buy another set. I bought longer stainless steel screws at the hardware store which work well.

    • Very easy to get into (and especially, out of) even with booties
I tried them yesterday on my Slingshot Dialer 130. They were very easy to get in and out of and seemed to provide just as much board control as normal straps. They appear to be quite well made and robust. A real safety advance IMHO.

    • Fantastic for kitefoiling
I've been learning for a few months, and had some quite scary crashes, and was really worried about getting my feet stuck or not being able to get away from the board when i crash. I've now bought Dakine half straps and its transformed my foiling. They work brilliantly - as good as straps to get started, help with foot positioning, but main thing is that my feet are released instantly on crashing, so no i end up lofting away from the board, and am now so much more confident to push things and progress.     • THE foiling straps to use.
When learning to foil, you will always easily be able to bail off the board without getting a foot jammed in a regular strap. The open style allows freedom of movement once you get going. The only thing to remember is that these can and will snag your lines. That can prevent a clean punch out if you ever need to.....the foil itself is excellent at this kitemare occurrence too. ... show more
