This is outstanding practice/target ammo for your new slingshot. You get 2 bags of 800 with this order - quite enough to get reasonably good. It's downright fun to go and blast through targets without having to worry about picking up your ammo. The biodegradable balls don't ricochet very much and tend to disintegrate when you shoot with a hard backdrop (I use the brick wall of my garage). So far, I've had exactly 0 problems with this ammo, it's all very consistent and round. It's hard enough to really grip down on, but not so hard to damage most targets. The only possible downside is that the little silica packets were burst open, so the clay balls were not as dry as hoped. It wasn't enough to damage anything, so I'm not dropping a star. ... show more

I am pleased overall with the ammo. For being clay, however, I expected them to weight just a touch more - not quite steel shot density, but closer. As it is, it has the feel of a dense plastic pellet. If you intend on only using this for youth events, it would work perfectly. For distance, I would not use it. It is true that if you get it wet, the ammo will start to dissolve. I found this out directly. It really does just seem to be clay-like, so it rinses off cleanly with just water. ... show more

I got a new band for my B52 from my local shop, they did not have clay ammo, so I checked this site. The package arrived in good order, coffee and black shot in two ziplock bags. The down side is that there was moisture inside both bags that got my fingers wet. A desiccant packet in the coffee bag was in pretty bad shape. Fortunately, the pellets were fine with the possible exception of cracked black pellets. The pellets had not absorbed much moisture. For good measure, I dried them in the sun for half an hour on a hot, windy day. The picture shows all the pellets I received. For me, the shipping loss was a bit more than 9-10 pellets, as another reviewer noted, but not by much. Certainly nothing to complain about. I'm no expert, but the pellets shot just fine. Hoping to get a better cherry harvest next year once the tree rats learn of my new hobby. The poly bag holds my B52 plus plenty of ammo, so that's a nice thing. It also has, as shown in the picture, a plastic window so you can add a name card or something. ... show more

I bought these (and have since bought more) upon buying a Simple Shot slingshot to deter critter from visiting my wife's flower garden. These are very round and of consistent size. They are biodegradable (fired clay) and will sting deer, wild pigs and rabbits. Great for target practice. Critters now mostly go around our home and leave wife's plants alone. ... show more

No quality was sacrificed for the quantity. Couldn’t be happier. Maybe only 2-3 were messed up beyond use. 99.99% of the ones I received were perfect spheres that will make a satisfying “crunch” or “snap” upon impact. (Always wear eye protection, no matter the ammo.) I was impressed with the bag too. Pretty sturdy compared to what I was assuming. I expect to order this again in the future. ... show more
