Santa brought a lot of stimulus toys this year, like playdoh, slime, squishy toys and this sand slime. The first thing the kids opened up were these sand slime buckets to play with, and I really didn't know what to expect. They have a very soft sand texture, not as gritty as moon sand though. It's very airy and light qhen you stretch it out, and compact in the container. It's not messy unless you rip it and a small piece falls off, but it's easily put back in its place. I keep stealing it from my kids to play with at night 😂 the texture is so cool and it's a great stress reliever. The only downside I've noticed so far is the very light sand residue, somewhat sticky on your hands when you're done, but it's like, the most mild thing ever. It's more of something you could wipe off with a baby wipe, no real need to wash your hands. The price point was great, it's a lot of sand slime for a pound and a half, and it smells good! I didn't realize it was scented lol. All in all, a great gift, especially if you have an autistic and/or adhd child. ... show more

Not what I expected, but it’s pretty cool anyhow. Definitely doesn’t smell like cotton candy. Has a slight scent but nothing anywhere near cotton candy. It is very soft and it stretches. My toddler is glued to it! Kind of almost literally. It is stuck to her fingertips. She got a little on the carpet. It came right off, but the stuff that she stepped on took a little work to remove it. It did wash easily off her hands. But I definitely didn’t think it was supposed to stick at all. Definitely gift able especially if you want to annoy the other parents 😂 it’s oddly satisfying if you can get past the sticky part lol ... show more

Smallish tub, but there wasn’t anything inaccurate in the description…..just didn’t realize 1.5lbs was such a small amount. Good for kids who need something tactile while working. It doesn’t stay together as well as I had hoped, but it has been a big hit with students.
