Very nice, I'm very happy with it. All the parts are precisely made and fit well. They give you one extra of each of the screws and bolts, a friendly touch. Assembly was not bad, easier than (say) lKEA. Illustrations are clear. English seems written by a native speaker. Although the metal structure is lightweight, when assembled with all three shelves it seems strong and rigid--it, not for heavy weights, but not rickety either. There no slop or "give" in it. Three things you need to know about it. 1) The top shelf is in two separate pieces. That's not obvious from any of the product photos. Because everything is cut and drilled accurately, when assembled, the two pieces butt up against each other snugly. However, there's a groove in the center. And the wood grain doesn't match. When finished, it's clear to the eye that there are two pieces. Step 4 of the assembly directions shows you the finished structure. So does one of the Amazon product pictures, "EASY TO ASSEMBLE." The support legs are also in two pieces, but they fit precisely and don't wiggle or flex where the pieces join. 2) The only assembly tool provided is an Allen wrench, and all the bolts and screws fit that wrench and not a regular flat or Phillips-head screwdriver. I had no trouble at all using it to complete steps 1, 2, and 3. However, in step 4, you must screw eight wood screws into pre-drilled holes. You can do this with the Allen wrench, but it is rather hard, slow work. I had an electric screwdriver and the correct bit, and I used that. I would have found it annoying, slow, and laborious using only the provided wrench. 3) The product photos are accurate, but somehow the two shelves are smaller than I'd imagined. They're quite a bit smaller than the tabletop. This is not Fine Furniture, but it looks pretty good and very practical for the intended use. The top two pieces are not matched and are uneven no matter how much effort you put into trying to adjust them on one of the two we purchased. Nice sturdy table. Easy to assemble. But the two-piece tabletop creates a seam down the middle, and it's impossible to get them flush. There's a noticeable 1/8 or so inch displacement that is really ugly. Only way to get rid of it is to cover the tabletop with a towel or something that's just a little bit wider to cover the edge. ... show more

Easy to assemble, works perfectly as a side table that receives light activity (a drink, some knitting supplies, etc.). Looks fine as well.
