Very cute toy. My boys loved it. But breaks easily. The seat doesn't stay on. The bucked part has completely broken off. Not worth the money at all.

    • Broken toggle switches… get what you pay for.
Value for money, well we get what we pay for. This was under 100, and most power ride toys are usually a couple hundred sooo… we bought it with low expectations. We were not surprised that the back hoe only worked in one direction and then would not retract. However reading all the other reviews and noticing similar issues, and the fact that I was to gift this to my two year old in 24 hours, I did what every electrical engineer would do! I removed the plug and used my multimeter to trouble shoot. Found two motors that get 6.5 volt dc and simple reverse power to reverse the direction, one motor wasn’t getting the reverse power so I removed the covers and found the issue. A broken toggle switch was not making contact with the momentary push buttons on the circuit board. So I super glued the broken plastic together and re assembled the covers. All works fine now. Just would not recommend it to anyone else. I would have returned it but I was on a time crunch… and wouldn’t let my son down! ... show more

Certainly not the most rugged ride on toy but definitely worth it! I purchased it for my 2 yr old grandson who absolutely loved it, but also his 5 yr old brother (should have bought 2). Like I said it isn’t the best made ride on toy but it works great with batteries and leavers, buckets really dig!

My son loves construction trucks , I was not sure if I should buy this because it had lots of bad reviews but I decided to buy it and my son loves it . The controls work perfectly and yes this toy is only for 2 years old maybe till 3 years old max. it's small but still cute.

    • Easy to assemble!
It's all plastic. Even the one that looks like metal, it's plastic. It's not as sturdy as I thought, since I bought it for my 2 year old grandson. I'm not sure how long my $100 will last. It works pretty good. The levers will lift up, and down. I don't think it's worth $100 though.
