ITS PERFECT!!! So far water resistance, I haven't gotten completely down poured on yet ... It's light weight, I can fit all my things, my emergency supplies , and extra stuff.. I love how I can use the back lace to strap on anything . So far a big blanket for a lay out sesh in the park , hoddies, hat. I can use both water pockets for my coffee and smoothie cup. Everything stays in place I ride my bikecycle everywhere and NOTHING FALLS OUT! I love the middle best strap to hold the bag in place while I zip around town . My old book bag was just too big to heavy and not water proof at all. Even with all my stuff something I forget in wearing in. n believe me I carry a lot of stuff . I stuff it full. I had it about a week and no signs that it's gonna break at the seems . Bought this to be used as a day pack while traveling, and it has stood up to the test. It has a small profile, but holds everything you need for a day of touring including two jackets and an umbrella among other things. It is lightweight and folds into itself for easy packing in suitcase. The chest strap must be worn or the straps fall off your shoulders, but this added stability makes it comfortable to wear. We love this mini backpack. It’s a smart purchase because of its: QUALITY - It’s constructed of a durable, lightweight material that wears well and even resists moisture. I've only had it for about a week, and haven't taken it on a trip yet, so I'm not sure what longevity will be like. It seems to be of good quality. The zippers slide smoothly, and the fabric itself seems like it's going to hold up to a fair amount of abuse. I plan to use it for short wilderness hikes and road trips. Basically an EDC (every day carry) go bag. Once I filled it with my essentials, I did give it a test fit and walked around in it a little bit. The straps seem very comfortable, and the chest strap can either fit above or below my female parts that usually seem to get in the way of these things 😉 Easily adjustable, and I use a fanny pack (turned to the back while hiking) as a waist belt to help support the (light) load better. The pack itself is super light. One of the reasons I purchased this was because my old day pack sticks out really far from my back and didn't have any kind of compression available, so if I would turn in the woods, it would get caught on everything around me. This one sits closer to my back and can be cinched down some (via the criss cross shock cord), so I'm hoping it's going to work better. Love the color! The one I had before was olive drab, so this one makes me happy to look at. Not essential to survival, but every little bit helps, especially if you're stuck out in the woods somewhere. I like that I can just lay it on the ground and open the main compartment fully, instead of having to pull things out the top. The storage bag that turns into an inside pocket is very clever. It's a great size for a day hike, maybe longer for someone like me who's ultralight. I can fit all my essentials in there, in case I would happen to get lost in the woods or on a road trip and need to spend the night somewhere. Good to be prepared! ... show more
