The biggest thing I see after opening these and measuring them, they are off by .25 or so based on description. Which is only a problem if you were going to get them framed with premade frames. I am keen to just hang them in their stretched canvas state. Doesn't bother me. These are very beginner grade as far as the quality and texture of the canvas. Nothing inherently wrong with them, and they would absolutely be perfect for your budding artist. They are easy sizes to work with on a table top easel or just flat. It does come with tape and a small palette. I love having canvases on hand for whatever nutty project I dream up, so I am excited to use these.

The paint used to coat the canvas is matte and it really grabs the graphite in the pencil I used to lay down a quick outline. I hardly had to touch the canvas at all. The canvas looks as though it is real cotton canvas. I haven’t applied acrylics yet. The coating isn’t thick and stiff. I like that, but I don’t know if that is a good quality or not. I’m new to this. The frame looks like it’s made to last and not warp. All the staples were fully seated so they won’t cause a problems when I’m ready to frame the pictures I create.

This is a really nice set of canvases, and would make a nice, wrappable gift for the artist in your life. :) The variety of sizes is handy, and I love the smell of the wood when you open the plastic. I also like the little paint tray, and I plan on using that starting tomorrow, because I’m painting ornaments, and am presently using wax paper. The quality of the canvas is smooth, meaning less texture in the finished product (unless you are purposely going for texture—say with a palette knife), and the paint will go on easily. It seems like they were primed with gesso or something, and that is good, because your paint won’t be wasted by first filling all those tiny holes. I like this set, and I recommend it.👍

My 5yo son loved painting on the canvas. I think these are a good way to help encourage your kids' creativity because it's always more fun to paint on a canvas than paper, plus they are super easy to hang up when done. Kids love seeing their work displayed on a real canvas and not just a curling-up paper stuck to the fridge. And the price is great, only a couple of bucks each in this bundle. I wouldn't hesitate to order these again.

I got these for my 6 year old daughter. She is very good at drawing and loves creating things to give out to family. She uses acrylic markers, alcohol markers, and oils. Everything has worked well on these and make for a nice gift. She likes to give them as is, so I can't say how they are framed. For everything you get I think it's very reasonably priced.

This is a good quality canvas set in three different sizes. The canvases are relatively smooth and the frames are tight. I plan on using these for acrylics but they would also be good for other media. This would be a great set for a painting party or for a children's art project.
