Great stuff. Use it for swollen joints, dry skin all over, deep face moisturizer for overnight. Not recommended under makeup too thick and absorbs slowly. Only wish it came in a glass bottle. Castor oil has its own unique scent.

I really like this stuff and have been using it along with a scalp stimulating brush/massager to try to get my hair to grow on the top of my head. It has helped make my hair more shiny and healthy, that is for sure. I haven't noticed much growth, however I haven't been 100% consistent. The thickness is good in my opinion as it really saturates your hair and stays put. The only reason I took a star away is because the tip broke off of the bottle and so now I can't close it. ... show more

I picked this product based on value and quality for a hexane free organic castor oil. The texture is great and smell is pleasant. I was looking for an oil to use in castor oil packs and masque for thinning hair. I noticed a difference in my hair for sure. I went to recommend this product to a friend and see a huge price jump from $13 when I bought in October to $25 in February for same size bottle. I just ordered this oil from this company. I have ordered from different brands and I have liked it a lot. But this time with this band, sky organics, trying to find “the best product” based on the reviews, I bought it and I really hate the smell it has. I cannot find an expiration date on the bottle to know if it’s old and got rancid, but it didn’t happened with the other brands. Only one of them got rancid and developed the bad smell, but this one is new and already smelling bad!! I didn’t give it less stars because even with bad smell and all, I use it on my bad shoulder and I don’t have any pain after applying it directly on my skin in both my shoulders. Although it’s thick and a little hard to move around, this is the best moisturizer I have ever used. I have chronically dry skin and since I’ve started using this I have been able to go days without having to constantly put on huge amounts of lotion or constantly exfoliate my skin.
