I bought these as something cheap to use with my phone. When you've lowered volume all the way it plays an indicator beep that's very loud, bad design.

While the selling point of this headset is its made for sports, These are great for if you lay down in bed on your side or watching tv laying down on the couch watching tv through a supported(bluetooth capable) tv and them not digging into your ears. Now for the sporting stuff, The body of the Vert clips onto a strap or coat pocket and is super easy to use when wearing winter gloves, easy to learn twist movements for changing tracks or volume, large front button for play/pause and accept/disconnect calls. 4 stars because the included "Fit Fins" are easy to pop off and lose, Which While I was able to enjoy having the fit fin silicon tips in, they kept the earbuds in place perfectly. ... show more

I thought these would be a nice set of sporty earbuds to have for use during bike/scooter riding, basketball, workouts, etc. cause I don't want my earbuds to fall out my ears and get lost/damaged. I'm pretty disappointed by this set and I regret my purchase. -Sound quality is mediocre at best -Call quality is good in absolute quiet conditions, but no wind or background noise filter whatsoever so useless in most situations. -Button seems to be way too sensitive and pauses my music constantly. They also turn themselves on while in my bookbag or jacket pocket, then connect to my phone without knowing. -Battery life is pretty bad, they went low after about 2hrs of use (could be due to turning itself on in my pocket before I got to actually use them) -Controls are lacking with only 3 buttons/switches for all functions. (Volume up also skips track. Center button is for power, BT synch, and play/pause) Decent concept but def needs work. Try adding -noise cancellation -cable management/storage -better button design or individual buttons. -improved audio quality -maybe a neck lanyard to couple with the clip -compatible with EQ app ... show more

    • The earbuds don't stay in my ears securely enough, even with the rubber attachments.
For skiing with my helmet on. The buds could be a little thinner. The helmet ear pads still push against them. Hopefully this won't bother me after hours on the slopes. I can't answer battery question yet. These specifically are not noise cancelling.

The sound isn't the best, but does well for what I need. The controls vary with whichever device I am using, some functionality is lost when using my laptop. iPhone works okay, but the controls don't always respond. Battery life is decent.
