  • I like it a lot!
Size: One Size
Smaller and lighter than I was expecting! Very accurate as far as I can tell. My only other gauge is a Milton pen gauge, which is great for cars, but not the mountain bike. It starts off at 20psi , and I ride with 20psi. So I bought this which so far has worked well in the 12-22psi range (I have a slow leak in my rear tire and check before I fill just to see how much air I need to put in). I don't use the bleed/deflate button at all, I think it's a little slow (plus it requires you to use two hands). If I need to take air out I just half-depress the schrader with the air chuck. It's neat feature, combined with the live readout... but useless in my opinion. I prefer the static readout. One thing I wish they would improve is the amount of time it takes to turn it off. You have to hold the power button down a full 4-5 seconds. The auto-off is only like 20 seconds. So most of the time I don't even bother turning it off. I just throw it back in my bag and let it put itself to sleep. They should make it like 1 or 1.5 seconds and make the auto-off like 45-50 seconds. This is very trivial though. I like that the head turns. I just wish it went a full 360 for when I'm too lazy to spin my tire around. I like that it beeps when it's read the psi. That way you don't have to look at screen (for when I'm too lazy to spin my tire around... or using it on a car tire). Although either it doesn't beep every time, or I don't hear it every time. It could stand to be slightly louder. All in all it's great. I love it. Unfortunately this is my first digital tire pressure gauge so I have nothing to compare it to except the analog pens. However, as such, I am greatly impressed. ... show more

  • A must-have for presta valves and low pressure tires
Size: One Size
My old Zefal gauge only goes down to 20 psi and gets pretty inaccurate below 30 psi. Now that I'm running 2.4"s at 16 psi on my mountain bike I started using the digital gauge for my car with a presta adapter. (a pain to use) This gauge is super easy to use. The head swivels so you can most likely see the display while measuring but even if you can't see it beeps when it has taken a reading and the reading stays long enough for you to read it after you've taken it off. I don't have lab grade instruments to check the accuracy but the two digital gauges agree so that's a good sign. ... show more

  • Really outstanding device!
Size: One Size
I bought this for a recent trip to France with my bike where I wouldn't have a floor pump with gauge, and would just top up pressure with a small frame pump. I wanted to make sure I would still be in the right pressure range I normally set my tires, and being tubeless, they will lose a little pressure over time and need to be topped up periodically. This device hits all the right marks - works great with Presta - even with sticky valves, it had no problem getting a reading without any measurable air loss, the rotatable head is super convenient, very light when packing lots of gear for a flight, and powers up with no delay when you want to check pressure. It's also way faster and easier than connecting a floor pump's head just to check pressure. ... show more

  • Accurate and easy to use.
Size: One Size
I wish I'd had this decades ago. Vastly superior to the gauge on my pump, which I now realize is off by 18 psi. And if I only want to check the pressure, using this will not cause the tire to lose air. (When I use my pump to check the pressure, air from the tire fills the hose and a portion of the pump, losing several pounds in the process.) It's small and light, so you can carry it in your tool kit. ... show more

  • Easier than Spring Gauge, More Durable
Size: One Size
I've had to toss many many low pressure mountain bike spring gauges in the trash when the mechanism fails for unknown reasons. I have rubber boots on them and keep them in sealed quart bags and they never leave my vehicle or storage. Somehow just using them or transporting them around is too much abuse or they are getting clogged with sealant so I bought a couple of these for testing. I think I'm done with accu gauges. This tool is lighter than a metal spring gauge, works with both shrader and presta, and comes in a nice padded cardboard case that is excellent for storing the tool in a gear bag if you've got the room. Much better than a 'rubber boot' on a spring gauge for protection. I only use them for presta, but it has been great as it measures to tenths of a lb and I think I believe the numbers for accuracy as well. Readings are repeatable and plenty precise for low pressure mountain bike tire adjustments. The digital readout is in my opinion easier to interpret than an analog gauge for a fixed reading. I like the audible sound the tool makes when the pressure has been read so I know when to remove it and look at the screen. Because the head swivels partially and because the screen doesn't need to be visible to take a pressure reading it is not at all awkward to get a reading. I always clear the valve of any potential sealant before using this tool and so far it has not clogged up. The screen illuminates which is also very helpful in low light situations. It is possible to get very precise air pressure by releasing with the tool if you need it but I've learned how many strokes of my pump I need (small pump moves about .1 lb per stroke) to make small adjustments to air pressure close enough for my uses, so I never need to do this or take a second reading and would rather not risk running any more sealant than necessary into the tool. I've only owned them for a few months so no complaints about battery life yet. It is of course helpful that holding down the power will turn the tool off instead of allowing it to turn itself off, but the auto shut off is key. If you are tired of heavy fragile mechanical spring gauges, give this a try and keep the box. ... show more

Accurate, simple to use, display is easy to read. Doesn't let a bunch of air out when you remove it.
