I was pleasantly surprised by these towels having bought them purely as to stage a clients home after remodel completion. Although I adore Vern, these hand & bath towels were so cheap I expected they’d be thin & scratchy. Out of the package they feel surprisingly nice- not plush, but not overly thin either. I can’t speak to the feel after the factory finish is washed off. *NOTE: thick stabilizer is used on the front (vs back) & pieces poke out of the small detail areas of embroidery. The bath towels are worse than the hand towels in this regard (see image). I imagine this could be painful if you used the bath towel to dry. The embroidery is as expected at this price. There’s towel loop snags, embroidery threads that didn’t get clipped, and suffers from gapping in the design but the overall design is beautiful on a budget. For the price & our purposes they’re wonderful but I wouldn’t recommend the bath towel for normal use. ... show more
