After having used this for 3 months, I actually like this product. I had initially ordered to use it during a trip. It is quite compact and fit perfectly in a check in bag. This makes a nice "car potty" too! After the trip, we've used it as a "spare potty" in our living room. Again, it does a great job.. Good quality and quite sturdy for a small toddler. I was apprehensive since many comments mentioned that the parts don't snap together easily. I never really encountered that problem. They snap together perfectly they are aligned correctly. With a few tries, you'll get the hang of it. I've never used the seat alone as a reducer nor have I used this with bags. So I can't comment on that. The product is easy to clean and sanitize. I read the directions, when used as a travel or stand alone potty, it says the top seat “clicks” into place. I cannot get it to click, and worry I’ll damage it if I try harder. It clicks into the storage position easily. I’m unsure if it will be kept or returned.

The height off the floor is perfect for potty training. However, the top does not “click” well into the bottom and we had a couple of incidents where the toddler ran and sat on the potty and the top slipped off and the bucket fell.
