I have made cold process soaps professionally for 10 years and used this melt and pour base for a baby shower request due to timing and being able to keep the soap more white in color. I was nervous about the quality and lather, and it is amazing! It has made me question why I ever messed around with lye and didn’t choose melt and pour before. The lather is abundant, it’s so easy to use, mixed well with my essential oils and colorants (I used a mica color), and was ready to go right away. Love this base! Super easy to use! Doesn’t smell bad. Holds scent well once you find your balance 20-30 drops. The container holds it well for stacking purposes. My hands feels so smooth and aren’t dry after using it. I was able to make 8-10 bars of soap. Not sure how big each is but satisfied overall. ... show more

This soap base was SO easy to work with. I recently made soaps for a friend's baby shower and this made things go smoothly. The soap did cool VERY fast, so keep that in mind for your working time but I was able to use pipettes for smaller details in the soap along with larger pours. This soap WILL sweat due to the glycerin in it, so it's not good for humid environments and will also soften with heat. It lathers very well and is virtually scentless, making it ideal for any skin-safe fragrance oil. ... show more

I really like this brand of soap base. Mixed well with fragrance and color additions. Only thing I have found to have a problem with is making a soap 2 different colors. Once dried and you make another layer they do not stick together and end up falling apart.

We have used many brands of melt and pour soap and have never had an issue with scent or smell. This was our first time purchasing this item and we will be throwing it away. The soap smells awful. I thought it was just me being sensitive but my kids walked into the kitchen and commented that it "smells like feet". There is not enough essential oil to cover the stink of this soap. ... show more
